  1. Much like the peculiar Starscream from last week, this time we look at an often released legends class version of Optimus Prime. He appeared in multiple lines across 2010 to, at least 2017, if not later. This particular version has a sword with blue head but black legs. I cannot find any iteration of this particular combination for this mold though. Odd.
  2. Not the type of vehicle I'd expect in the Velocitron Speedia 500, but Transformers Legacy Scourge if quite formidable. Interestingly, his deco is actually a bit of a mix of a couple of homages, but it comes off looking quite sinister!
  3. This time I look at a real oddity of a legends Starscream. I'm unsure which particular version I have as this guy have several variants and was released multiple times from 2010 to 2017; from RtS to Chronicles, EZ Collection to being a dollar store release!
  4. As if the Studio Series 86 Dinobots aren't already impressive, enter the latest two upgrade kits for Snarl from Matrix Workshop and Tim heada. Only serves to make this dude beefier and more bombastic!
  5. Transformers Studio Series 86 Ratchet is yet another use of the Ironhide mold. It's okay, but I really detest the Transformation, at least the chest part, and am baffled, since they tried to pass this off as a voyager, why the hip skirt was still only one piece and why we missed the red stripe (while I also dislike both red crosses missing in both modes as well, I at least understand why that was). Dude is a mixed bag. I fixed a few things and compare this lad to the Ironhide and the Earthrise Ratchet.
  6. So, as a boy, I was once swarmed by ants (don't recommend it) so I have quite the aversion to them, but Transformers Legacy Evolution Selects Antagony is terrific and the Scavenger head is very nice, as for the Scavenger mode? Can't win'em all!
  7. I had never planned to look at the Transformers Studio Series Bumblebee Movie core class Shockwave, but here we are. This is awful for the Canadian MSRP of basically 20 bucks, taxes in, but for 4 bucks CAD at a dollar store? Sure. He scores...fine but I expect more and better from such a classic character.
  8. The time has come to look at the Transformers Studio Series '86 Ultra Magnus, dig deep and compare this big boy to not only the Earthrise but the Combiner Wars too, with the KBB KO of the Perfect Effect Core Fighter and X2Toys xt009 upgrades! This will be a beefy review!
  9. Let's monkey around with the Transformers Studio Series Rise of the Beasts Optimus Primal (whom I may use as an Apelinq stand in)! I really wanted the Transwarp Key, but what a bot! He's great, but definitely not a real Leader class, but not enough less to be Voyager either. What a furry oddity he is!
  10. I have spent some time reviewing many a KO Beast Wars offerings and saved the wildly unexpected best for last with, get this, of all characters, K-9...go figure!
  11. Here's an oddball look at a KO Beast Wars T-Wrecks. I compare him to the original Megatron mold from the late 90's to see what was retained and what was lost. Even more odd is this character in fiction, I mean, leader of the "new" Dinobots...weird.
  12. I look at the last of the Beast Wars Neo knock offs with the resident Maximal horse - Mach Kick! Dude is definitely a mixed bag and while recognizable, there sure were a few liberties taken with the interpretation of the original mold, lol.
  13. Nothing quite says Happy Halloween like reliving some childhood cartoon trauma with Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee DEAD Prowl and Ironhide, along with comparisons with their "living" counterparts!
  14. The Transformers Earthspark Stygimoloch is the chosen form for Terran Jawbreaker. While his first release is a warrior class, a bit of a simplified deluxe, the guy is actually very functional and at a lesser price than a deluxe to boot! Perfect? No, but the guy is fun!
  15. Transformers Rise of the Beasts roars into Christmas with this Years Hallmark Keepsake ornament featuring the live-action movies for the first time in the line with Maximal leader Optimus Primal. As this is a tree ornament, there is no transformation or articulation, but the sculpt and paint is on point!
  16. It's high time I look at the controversial matrix bearer named Nova Prime (or Prime Nova sometimes) from the Legacy Evolution line! I'll look at both who he is and how well the Galaxy Force Upgrade Optimus Prime mold has been adapted to him.
  17. When I heard we were getting a new use of the Siege seeker mold as Nacelle I was ecstatic, since I adore that seeker mold, barnone. However, there was controversy about this as Nacelle is typically a red, white and blue Thrust. I submit that in this particular release, the Siege tetra jet mold actually matches better.
  18. No parking means NO parking! No one knows that better than Tow-Line and this is the Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Legacy Evolution Robots in Disguise 2000 (I always thought it was 2001) version of this guy! What a mouthful that was!
  19. Hailing from the darkest reaches of Junkion, weighing in at an impressive 169g. He is the master of trash...This. Is. Trashmaster! Who, coincidentally, is also the first Legacy voyager Junkion who is a weaponizer, as well (my version of Junkasuarus will be in a separate video).
  20. It's an insecti-swarm as we look at the Transformers G1 Insecticons and compare and contrast them with the Prime Wars legends class versions AND the latest Legacy and Legacy Evolution versions!
  21. A bit of creepin' and crawlin' today with a look at the Transformers Legacy Evoltuion Bombshell, who rounds out the Insecticon trio. They all look great together but it should be noted that Bombshell is definitely the most stylized of them all (understandably so if you ask me) and he is missing one little feature in his design I would have personally liked.
  22. This time we stick with the creepy-crawly theme by way of the Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Rise of the Beasts Predacon Scoponok and battle master Sandspear, plus we compare this set to my Kingdom (with added 3D parts), Creature's Collide and my custom original version, as well as, the tiny one that even came with Studio Series Blackout!
  23. The Transformers Legacy Evolution Shadow Striker is said to be from the Cyberverse continuity, but her look is obviously a departure. As it is, she's more of a mix of a couple iterations of herself, neither of which is G1 - ified, go figure.
  24. I reviewed the original RiD 2015 Strongarm (on loan) awhile ago. Somehow, this was a character I kept missing myself so I was pumped for this addition. Sure, lower body is more of the same but the upper body is quite different.
  25. Junk, garbage, Detritus...Legacy Evolution Detritus, that is. The logical pre-use of the highly-anticipated Buzzworthy Bumblebee Studio Series 86 earth mode Hound mold. I compare it to the Classics Hound and Siege Hot Shot too. It just so happens that this also works terrifically well for the Junkion merc seeking to overthrow Wreck-Gar!
