  4. Today's shot takes a look at the many Tech Deck Dudes Optimus Prime variants. 5. With the Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy: SIEGE chapter featuring Jetfire so prominently, I thought it would be fun to include the character in one of the Daily Optimus Prime posts. Today we are taking a look at the Classics Voyagers Jetfire and Optimus Prime combined mode that was discovered by the fan community some years ago. It is big, bulky, and tricky to pull off, but it works quite well and makes for a rather attractive Leader scale figure when everything comes together into a serious arsenal of Autobot fire power. 6. Stumbled across this today when browsing the vast number of customs Simon Smith has created out of Transformers G1 Optimus Prime. I have no qualms admitting that I am plastic, fried chicken, and Optimus Prime addict that is totally feeling the mad rush of Blue Sky just looking at these tasty shots. It is just awesome and hilarious that Simon has refabricated the trailer into a mobile laboratory "Where something Good is Always Cooking". Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  7. Today's Prime shot takes a look at the Optimus Prime GoBot / Spychanger toys and the many recolors the mold was used for. Only two of them were formally Optimus Prime, the Hasbro and Takara editions with the rest being recycled for other characters. Being a repaint zealot, I have a lot of fun collecting all the molds over the years and I am bit sad I am almost done with them. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  8. Today's Optimus Prime shot takes a look at something that a lot of kids must have wanted to shop for the continuum of toys that Hasbro was producing for the Generation 1 series. The Optimus Prime Magic Action Picture Wallet. Licensed by Diamond Toymakers in 1984 it was made vinyl with a unique feature of a lenticular cover face that when tilted, gave the illusion of it transforming from the Transformers logo into the Optimus Prime artwork that was featured on the now legendary box. It is shown at right with a nylon wallet featuring a plain old silkscreened image of Transformers Animated Optimus Prime. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  9. Today's Prime shot is all about taking things up a few notches with the 2008 Fansproject TF Parallax upgrade kits. What began with turning the Classics Ultra Magnus into a proper City Commander ala Generation 1, also allowed for the parts to be transformed into a trailer that the Classics figures never officially had. These kits were instantly popular and were re-released to meet demand. Fansproject expanded the concept with new colors to accommodate the Classics Optimus Prime and Nemesis Prime figures as well. Shown here left to right are the: TFX-01B Shadow Commander, TFX-01J Dia Commander (Dia Clone Powered Convoy), and the original TX-01 City Commander with TFX-03 add-on rife and should rockets.
