This time around we have the big, burly leader of the Dinobots with Studio Series '86 Grimlock, as well as, the 3D Corner Sword accessory. Studio Series 86-06 Leader Class Grimlock with Autobot Wheelie. We finally get a carton accurate Grimlock that is scaled correctly, him towering over Optimus Prime like in the carton. His transformation has a few new things, like hiding the tail, but overall similar to the original G1 toy. Wheelie is a bit of a disappointment, very little articulation and he can barely stand by himself. Grimlock has his double barrel gun and can store it in either mode. So far this Studio Series 86 line is AMAZING! https://youtu.be/jT31NlIZMa0

Good news for all you Texas residents!! We will be hosting our very own Robot / Sci Fi themed convention here in San Antonio, TX!! We're hosting a bot themed convention set for 7 - 8 May 2016. From the folks that organized Alamo City Comic Convention (ACCC), we are holding a robot themed convention dubbed, Cyber City Con (CCC) here in the heart of Texas. More Grimlock is always a good thing :-) I painted him in homage to his G1 color scheme, and gave him a big ol' spiky meat cleaver, to cut through anything that gets in his way. Enjoy!

I have a serious obsession with Grimlock. When I was a kid, I thought of the Dinobots as the thugs of the Autobots. if Optimus Prime was the MLK/John Wayne type character, then the Dinobots were the Ice Cubes, Tupacs and Mobb Deeps of the crew. I've created several weapons for ol' tiny arms. 2 3D printed melee weapons called Spark Drinkers, available at my Shapeways store. One measures just over 6 inches tall, the other at right around 4.75 inches. He also carries a BFG, homaged after his G1 dual barrel pistol. He also includes a custom 3D printed head (which simply screws in the place) and his other accessories included with the stock figure. Him, Grimlock, say "Enjoy!"
