  1. Heard about the planned MP Thundercracker so couldn’t resist getting my hands on MP Skywarp.

Imported Encore Jazz for a really good price, disappointed with the qc again though – the paintwork is shocking.

Picked up Cybertron Scourge from ebay for the bargain price of £3.20, missing his tail/club and cyber key though which is a bit of a downer.

  2. I only got a 2008 BB & voyager Prime 2 pack!

and are there any more where u come from? :tftongue

The two-pack is an exclusive to a UK high street catalogue chain-store called Argos. As far as I'm aware there are still a lot left in the stores. Argos also has the Optimus Prime repaint in stock.

  3. I was gonna mention the "Classic" Sunstreaker. They have 1 (& Wheeljack) in a comic shop near me.

That sounds tempting. Whereabouts in the Country is the shop, are they both MISB and what's the price?

Romford (Essex) Indoor Market. They're both MISB & the bloke was asking for £120 each. I wonder if he has a room out back to make up that cost? :tftongue

    Thanks.

£240 plus petrol to Romford puts them out of my budget. I was just being greedy anyway as I've got the original releases MIB, I just wouldn't mind having them MISB.

  5. Octavian: not just the UK - Australia and New Zealand got them too, as well as some other European countries I believe.

I was thinking more along the lines that he hasn't been given a recent Hasbro or Takara (collection) reissue, just like Mirage, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Trailbreaker and Ratchet.

Ironhide's been reissued twice - once by Hasbro in 1990 and the second time by Takara in 2000. Ratchet and Trailbreaker were also reissued by Takara in 2000/01.

Sunstreaker and Mirage on the other hand have never been reissued.

Yes, forgot about you Antipedeans getting the Classic Heroes line as well, didn't you get Blaster, Screamer and Soundwave also?

Sunstreaker was given a UK release and was one of the first toys made available in the line.

I know that Ratchet, Ironhide and Trailbreaker were given early 2000's ehobby re-releases, but I was thinking specifically about a Takara Collection or Hasbro Commemorative re-release that the masses can afford (plus non generic ehobby packaging). Apparantly Hasbro had plans for a Trailbreaker and Ironhide reissue but the line wasn't doing too well against the Alternator line so this plan was scrapped.

  6. somewhat off topic - Octavian - re: your signature image... you do know that Wheeljack has been reissued right?

    Reissue Wheeljack's tech specs card:

I know that Wheeljack was given the Classic Heroes treatment back in 1990 in the UK, but that was 17 years ago ... I was thinking more along the lines that he hasn't been given a recent Hasbro or Takara (collection) reissue, just like Mirage, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Trailbreaker and Ratchet.

I hope to see them all in the future but if I had one wish for a reissue it would be a Takara anime Reflector, that would be good times.
