Like the 2001 reference by the way...made me giggle. As far as a haul today... The other day...before they announced his re-release :roll I won a Unicron on Ebay. WITH shipping he was less than his original retail price. Complete except the box and in total perfect shape! He showed up on my doorstep today. Not long after I got 2 of my new TF Tshirts I ordered from 80's Tshirts...a really nice blue T with a group shot of the Dinobots and the grey one with a peace sign and "Baa Weep Grahna Weep Ninny Bong" around it. My wife apparently ordered me one with the Autobot Logo on a black background that when you turn off the lights, the autobot logo disapears and the Decepticon logo begins glowing. Should be cool. NONE of teh stores here have restocked with anything!! TRU is out of universe and the only Animated figs are the first and second waves.

Ugh I know how you feel. I got a 20th masterpiece prime from this guy on Ebay. He shipped it wrapped in nothing but a brown paper grocery bag!! He didn't put it in a box. No styrofoam peanuts or anything to protect it. The box was trashed! The figure was still in great shape and as I display ALL of my figs and stow the boxes, it wasn't that big a deal. Still it's the principal of the thing. For the record the guy is no longer allowed on Ebay. He had WAY too many complaints and negative feedbacks on that one. Yep, I hear ya. In the last few weeks, I've had 2 Encore Ratchets and 1 Ironhide show up damaged, a Sky Lynx arrive with a beat up box and tape misplaced making it actually not "MISB," a Protoform Prime arrive in a paper envelope and now this Omega Supreme. It boggles the mind. I'm of the opinion that if you're a grown-up spending $100 on a toy, it probably won't bother you to pay a couple bones extra for bubble wrap or packing peanuts. Or they could just build it into the price of s/h. I think I'm just going to pay the higher prices at established on-line stores for new TF's instead of relying on Ebay for them. Ugh. People suck. Speaking of which, can people recommend online stores? Or point me to a thread where it's discussed? I've had good dealings with ToynK, but have not heard good things about BBTS. Brian's Toys seems to have outrageous prices, and poor TF selection. Is TF Source the best place to go? Well I've actually had a pretty good experience with BBTS. LAFToys is pretty good as well. Well actually I should say I've only ever bought from them when they were at local conventions. Nice folk there though. I'm sure that ordering online with them would be good as well.

Well I got a nice little TF haul for my Birth day this past few days.... Premium Megs Animated Grimlock "How to Draw Transformers" book (should be fun) fleece "Transformers" throw/blanket (the wife keeps it pretty cool in the house. My feet usually freeze. this will keep them nice and warm.) OH and a "Taters of the Lost Ark" Mr. Potato Head!! Edit: I forgot...I found an RH Dispensor as well.

Well while your at it putting in that lens flare with your Photoshop...maybe take out the dental floss as well. OH and put in a cool background.

SO far this past weekend and tonight....all current :animated except Grimlock. I know alot of folks have not been just overly joyed with these figures. I gotta say, I like them all so far. The designs and engineering I am just really impressed with. Not to mention the paint jobs. I havn't seen any of the paint app. problems that some have pointed out.

Still no Animated in MY part of the DFW Metroplex (Damn you DALLAS!!) BUT I did hit the STarget on 360 in Grand Prairie and found Deep Space Starscream (I got 2 for some reason) and RH Dispensor. They still had probably 20 to 30 Deep Space Starscreams though. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the original movie Starscream. Although keep an eye out on his eyes though. The first couple I picked up had some pretty sloppy paint apps on his eyes. Other than that he is just amazing!

I got my G1 Complete Defensor today!! no boxes or instructions but all figs, accessories, and in excellent tight condition. A tiny bit of sticker issues but not bad. I'll try and get pics up tomarrow as soon as I can find my camera cord.

Got a Titanium "Fallen" tonight. Never been much of a Titaniums fan but I liked this one. Maybe it was the color scheme.

Well...Along with getting a Cybertron Prime...I also picked up the old Kmart Exclusive Pretender Jazz...MOC! Guy had it marked at $15 but they were having a sale so I got him for $10! The cards a tiny bit dinged on one corner and there are a few other scrapes and bruises but all in all the card is actually in pretty good shape. Never been opened! Not sure if I'm going to open him though. I usually open all of my figs but this one I have the desire to keep sealed. I'll try to get some pics up tomarrow.

One seller trick I learned from a friend; in the initial search, if you click "completed items" on the search result options at the right side of the page, you can see all the searched items that's ended to check if they sold at all or at what price they're sold at. Good tip! Most of the ones that have sold have been at the retail price. Although there have been a few that have gone at twice that. I may just hold on to them for a while. I'm keeping at least 2 of them though.

Well I'm tempted to go back and get more BUT...I was just looking on Ebay and very few of those are being bid on. There are alot of "BUY NOW" deals but I have no idea if those are selling. I"ll keep my eyes on em for a bit first. I've honestly NEVER sold ANYTHING on Ebay before though. Should be an interesting experience. Of course this would all be used for purchasing a few older G1 figs that I had in the past but have lost over the years. Got my eyes on a Sunstreaker. The first TF I ever owned. Got stolen back in Elementary by the local bully. Never got it back.

Well I looked em up on Ebay last night. They were going for double retail from what I saw. Maybe I'll just sell em all. :tftongue

All I want to know is...why? What's the point? Just to spend the whole $120? Sure, it was only $25 for the Robot Heroes, but why five of each figure? I'm not begrudging anyone's right to spend their own money however they g*dd*mn please, but I'd like to know the desire to buy more than one of the same thing. WELL...one of the 5 RH's I bought is for me. 2 more are gifts for a couple of buddies of mine. The last 2 I'm not sure. I may put them on Ebay. I may have a couple of other buddies that may want one. I mean they were 5 bucks. Why not pick up a few. If it makes you feel better...I could have picked up like 5 or more Prime/Unicrons today but I didn't. Just got the one.

I still need to find the Prime/Uni set though. But did you get five different packs or the same? Toys R Us' base price for them is $5 instead of $6 :) Oh, and hey other dude you are welcome to buy all the movie Megatrons you want! Help yourself IMO! I thought the 5 packs were all the same?! The ones I got are all the same.

No offense taken, and I realize this is a TF site. I've been posting mostly TF and some non-TF hauls here for the past 2 years; no one else has really minded too much. I've posted Gundams and anime-related stuff among the hoards of TF toys. Besides, the thread's title is "Post your hauls here. Pics welcome., Get something new? Want to tell someone?" which clearly doesn't require me to post solely TF-related hauls. If everyone has a problem with me posting my Gundam, Power Rangers or other anime-series stuff here, I will gladly stop doing so. I figured that, as TF toy collectors, we'd enjoy seeing some of the other cool toys from other toy lines and stuff. I personally enjoy seeing some variety in others' collections and purchases, and I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that way. Now, if you have an issue with me posting Power Rangers stuff in particular, that's a whole different story. Sure, the storylines can get kind of repetitive and stuff, but the toys themselves are quite interesting. I've just found less interest in TF toys recently, and decided to expand my toy collection to include stuff from other series. I don't really mind it. I guess it's just...I never could stand Power Rangers at all! Now Ultraman...that's a different story. Got some Ultraman stuff...post it :thumb
