  1. Onslaught: are those actual outdoor shots of Classics Jetfire?

I've done two outdoor shots before, one of them being that insert shot of Prowl, Sideswipe and Jazz - that's REAL sky in the background!

I did another one in a pool, but it's hosted on crappy GeoCities and the site's not loading up for me atm. Ggrr...

  2. masterminicon: new Bumblebee has a different head which has light-piped eyes - which glow blue when there's light going through them, and you can clearly see that his eyes are buggy. It's just that when I take photos of the toy, the light piping isn't active so you don't notice them.

Trust me, the eyes on the Bumblebee are plenty nice. :)

  3. Ultimate Battles Megatron is one seriously sweet toy. ;)

yanno goki, nobody would have known that if you didn't say it

Just covering my ass... don't want nobody coming up to later and accusing me of retrospectively spoiling the movie for them... there are some weirdoes here. Not me of course, I'm perfectly normal. :P

  4. WARNING! The following pic is based on what I saw in the movie - I tried wrapping it in spoiler tags but it didn't work (seems to only work for text). It's a fairly mild/minor spoiler - it's no worse than what the trailers reveal. But I realise that there are even fans out there who are avoiding the trailers because they want nothing spoiled... so yeah... be aware that this pic may be considered spoiler material by some.

  5. Yeah, that's pretty much it - Jetfire is the Bandai DYRL Strike Valkyrie (with the square face) with the Super Valkyrie missile pod (instead of the Strike Valkyrie pod with the dual cannons) - it was a repaint of a prototype Strike Valkyrie which Bandai sold to HasTak but later Kawamori modified the design to include the dual cannons. I pointed it out because the VF-1S you repainted in that photo next to MP Starscream is clearly a pure Super Valkyrie with the round Super Valkyrie face which is inaccurate for Jetfire, who's meant to have the square Strike Valkyrie face.

And yeah, the nose cone was rounded too - but that happened with a lot of Transformers including the Decepticon jets (their Diaclone versions have far pointier nosecones and they were solid plastic, not rubber).
