macross stuff looks great, but i've never personally gotten the whole gerwalk thing. i mean, it just looks half transformed lol. of course i've yet to watch the anime >_>

The Gerwalk mode is slower but more maneouvreable than fighter mode. It is less maneouvreable than battroid mode but is faster and is the only mode which has VTOL*.

Dinobot Leader: in that story, Cloudburst and Landmine met a tribe of giant women on the planet Femax. Their Queen takes a fancy toward Cloudburst and tries to do Snoo-Snoo to him... but Cloudburst freaks out and reveals his true Autobot identity to her. The Queen - immediately realising that Cloudburst has no willy for which to Snoo-Snoo her with - gets royally pissed and beheads him (although Landmine is able to convince her to repair him). ;) So yeah, hence my previous statement. :P

Octavian: not just the UK - Australia and New Zealand got them too, as well as some other European countries I believe.

 

I was thinking more along the lines that he hasn't been given a recent Hasbro or Takara (collection) reissue, just like Mirage, Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Trailbreaker and Ratchet.

Ironhide's been reissued twice - once by Hasbro in 1990 and the second time by Takara in 2000. Ratchet and Trailbreaker were also reissued by Takara in 2000/01.

 

Sunstreaker and Mirage on the other hand have never been reissued.

have you seen FAB frenzy irl yet? i don't think it'd look very good from any angle but head on, that back kibble is nasty.

I haven't seen him IRL but I've seen photos.

I admit that it's kinda kibblicious, but consider this:

1/ It's not bad for it's price point.

2/ It's a lot better engineered that other FABs IMO.

3/ Making a movie-accurate Frenzy would be hideously difficult, especially at that scale and price point.

 

...so in the context of its given size and price point, I don't think it's too bad. Also, it's not like we have that much choice... afaik this is the only proper transforming Frenzy figure that they're releasing.

Goki. Late Post but just saw your StopMotion fight.! Brilliant! Now where's Frenzy chasing the humans!?

 

Uh, I didn't think using the little Frenzy figurine from Barricade vs the non-articulated Spike PVC and BTA Junko would be terribly exciting. I'll probably do it after I get FAB Frenzy and use some other figures (like maybe from GI Joe or some other similar 10cm scale line) to re-enact that fight. Although it would kinda be funny for Junko to decapitate Frenzy with her umbrella. ;)

 

BTW, how tall is that Arcee?
