I really didn't like Proto SS, but after reading this post, I thought I'd have a look. It's amazing how having legs a quarter of an inch further apart changes a figure. It's still no way my fave, but I have a new liking for the sculpt & posability, and I had a mess around with a few pics: Hope you like!

The two-pack is an exclusive to a UK high street catalogue chain-store called Argos. As far as I'm aware there are still a lot left in the stores. Argos also has the Optimus Prime repaint in stock. I dunno, there only seems to be one per store ATM. They will probably restock soon.

I got them from Play asia. They are really nice little pieces for the price. If you order 4 from them, they'll make sure you get the full set, too.

And my non TF haul- Zelda collection figures!! These guys are all kinds of awesome, with amazing paint jobs and great sculpting, all for £1.50 each!

I only got a 2008 BB & voyager Prime 2 pack!

I would highly recommend any of the real gear figs. They're well made, and above all else, fun. I must admit, Spyshot is my fave. :thumb

I love these pics. Funny thing about the last pic though, I was just explaining to my son last week that if Transformers really lived on Primus, they'd be so small, you couldn't see in....Unless they're Fort Max or somebody like that. That's what I was thinking-- I think Optimus needs to be a hell of a lot smaller, but the idea is cool. :thumb You'd have to go *way* macro on your camera to get a small part of Primus for Prime to be on. I mean, Cybertron is smaller than earth, but it's still freakin gigantic! Check out the cities on his legs and then think that those are the size of the Sears tower...
