  1. I found a Dinobots PCC at a discount chain the other day. Too bad one of the drone's connection port covers was reversed so It won't open. I'll have to figure out how to flip it. But the figure looks great.
  2. Picked up Thundercracker and Warpath at the Seattle Southcenter Target yesteday. Interesting.
  3. Picked up a DOTM powerglide yesterday. Pleasantly surprised about how nice he looks in both robot and alt modes. Definitely worth a pick up if you can find him.
  4. Sorry. Maybe I was being a bit negative. They both look nice in robot mode, so that's the way they'll stay on my shelf.
  5. I was at a local fred meyer/kroger store and the entire TFormers area was cleared out with signage for the third movie toys. On a hunch I picked up the metal shelf on the bottom and found the universe optimus prime v. megatron ultimate battle 2-pack jammed in there with a couple halo toys. I scanned the upc, but it wasn't in the register anymore. I guess it must've been stuck down there since 2006 or 2007. They gave it to me for $10. I'm sitting here at my desk making optimus spin around like a top. This has to be the weirdest toy feature I've seen on a transformer. It's like he's being flushed down a toilet. *edit* and after playing with optimus for 5 minutes, i'm thinking i probably should've left it where it was buried. :)
  6. Picked up Generations Special Ops Jazz and Turbo Tracks. I was disappointed by both figures. My main complaint is that the legs and feet on both toys are too floppy, making the toys unstable. Tracks' feet are especially bad. He's laying facedown on my desk right now because I got tired of propping him back up. His dimensions are pretty comparable to his g1 toy, but compared to the rest of the Generations line, he looks short and stocky. Jazz's plastic seems pretty cheap and flimsy. The hood-chest of jazz looks almost knock-off tf flimsy and there are three different colored white plastic parts on the figure. The shoulders and neck are a whiter than the chest and doors. The forearms are painted white that doesn't even come close to the rest of the figure. While the speakers are a nice touch, overall this figure was a disappointment. To end on a bright note. Both vehicle modes look great and both figures have pretty good articulation (though the floppy ankles and feet will prevent them keeping that pose on your desk). *edit* Jazz's chest just looks flimsy because the blue headlight plastic and the slightly transluscent white plastic make the plastic look thinner than it really is.
  7. I was in Canadia yesterday and found Recon Ravage on sale for 9.98 CND... so that's like $3 USD.
