  1. I grabbed all these, selling them on eBay.... not. I grabbed one each. Sooooo......

My haul is 1 Titanium Grimlock, 1 Titanium Prowl, & 1 Universe Sunstreaker (Finally!)

    screenshot01kn9.jpg

Both animated voyager Optimus prime and Blitzwing.

Voyagers clearenced for $22 where I am and seeing as they had only one of each I figured what the hell.

    :hbang

    Clearance Voyagers = $22? Canada?

    Yep.

    Otherwise they'd be about $30 a piece.

    That's Canada for ya.

Funny thing though. Leaders are now on par with the US. $40 a piece.

Will have to soon buy Megatron.

  2. Animated Voyager Starscream.

Though I really like it this is a close as I've come to hating any animated let alone Transformer in a long while.

Jet mold is decent but a mess of kibble underneath, not a big fan of the automorph transfomation/makes him a b*tch to get into alt mode and the claws like to fall off as well as those fuselage sections. That said the bot mode made it all worth it. Joints/legs are nice and tight, is show accurate, and can hold some bad ass poses. I'm keeping Starscream strictly for those reasons everything else is complete fail. JMO.

  3. Hello everyone, I am obviously new here. I was looking over this thread and I decided to give it a shot, with caption, as well.

    Well, here goes nothing!

    galvaslaught.jpg

    Tell me what you think!

    :awsum

I can actually see Onslaught being that big nest to Bumblebee/Galvatron.

  4. Thanks for the advanced warnings.

A lot of those issues seem to also plague Black Arachnia, especially the hole in the chest. The grappler was unfortunately the first thing to bust. Forgivable for deluxe I guess.

I know for fact I'm skipping Galvatron (Got a Titanium Megatron vibe from him, another figure I skipped) I think Tankor and Sunstreaker should be pretty good though.

  5. Animated Lugnut.

For once I actually bought the opposite from what I actually wanted.

Too many times when I buy the toy I really really want I end up being disappointed.

I feared the same with Grimlock.

Luckilly I wasn't disappointed at all with Lugnut.

A bit small but a really solid, fun, well executed toy with one of the best plane alt modes of any Decepticon in recent years.

  6. Just picked up UC2.0 Galvatron.

Ingenius transformation. I mean a lot of thought went into this one.

It's got nice detailing, especially for a dlx, but as mentioned elsewhere, the joints aren't the greatest.

It feel's more like a movie dlx; all of the flimsiness and none of the automorph to blame it on.

However he feels, though, he definitely looks badass and imposing... if it weren't so small.

Thought this would make for the best comparison shots...

Don't care too much for the figure, but he does look good next to Rodimus.

Proportions don't even look to bad.

    Nice pics. :)

  7. Animated Prowl and Ratchet.

    :woot

No f*cked Q/C on either makes me one happy to collector.

Both are pretty cool in alt/bot mode, have reasonable articulation, and tight joints.

Only thing though is standing either seems a bit difficult.

Cain I saw Lugnut as well. Tiny in person. Even in plane mode.

  8. Part 2....

    RUN TO THE HILLS!

sorry but i just had to do that fix

Kinda late for that, isn't it? o_0

I should point out though that "run for the hills" or "head for the hills" is a commonly accepted and very widespread saying. To the point where in person, tv, or print, I've not really heard someone say "run to the hills."

    :tmyk

    ~Matt Booker

You are correct sir. Run to the hills doesn't even sound right.

i knew i was late but i dont care just wont be that late again :P

oh and its iron maiden :P

    First thing I thought.

    :hbang

  9. My choice pics for Animated...

Soon Shockwave, Swindel, Blurr and Legends Bumblebee will join the shelf...

    That is awesome.

I can not wait for Megatron to eventually show up locally.

LC Megatron, and V Prime are easily first on my animated list when Walmart restocks.

  10. No, I'm pretty sure that was a pretenders Starscream in that pic.

I can't imagine any other figure looking that ghey.

    Great collection though

I'm still missing Cybertron Starscream. :tfsad

  11. :tflaugh

Those shots of Black Arachnia are absolute win.

:awsum to that degree for any figure should be illegal. Almost.

Props to Goki for the Bulkhead riding Prowl pic.

I so hope that eventually is realized in the cartoon at one point or other.

  12. Though Bulkhead suffers major from scale he's a good fit with Lugnut in that pose.

I'd like to get the LC Bulkhead but knowing Lugnut's only voyager class I may just stick with the voyager Bulkhead.

    Animated figures photograph awesome btw.

  13. :awsum

Very very impressive. Totally reminds me of a do it yourself 3d model I had back when I was a kid. A robot Trex I think. The detailing, artistic work as I remember was nowhere near as elaborate as what you've pulled off here. I don't know if it's been asked but is the artwork on each of the monitors your own as well? As with everything else absolutely breathtaking.

Also thanks for providing the high res prints at no cost. A wonderful service, can't wait to see some of these completed so I at least have some vague sense of what I'm doing when I give it a try.

Great link also. If I can pull this off I may want to give that Sound wave and Ravage a try.

    :win
