  1. The contrast is okay, maybe making the edges where each panel stops or begins darker might be good. You sorta did this on the middle section. Just to better define each plane and help us determine where the folds are. It might also help give the finished piece more definition, but that just nick picking. It's actually very well done. You inspired me to try to make more dioramas! Thanks again for sharing.
  2. Thank you so much for the files, you rock! Here is a pic of my finished Teletran 1. Mine came out a little different...I think I measured it wrong, but still awesome. ..And then I took your files and made me a G.I. Joe control room! How cool is that?! -amaro www.joeamaro.net
  3. I'm not sure. Maybe he is planning on making a bunch of them, that way he can spread the cost out? He's trying to make a business making these things. I'm not. I'm just doing it for fun. -Joe
  4. Hey that's cool. You don't have to buy one. :tfgrin Don't get mad. I just thought that some of you guys would want one. I'm not pushing one on you. I even said I would trade. It did take a lot of work to make one. You try sculpting those faces that clean. It's very hard to take something organic like clay and turn it into something that looks mechanical. The casts were another project by itself. Look at the faces, those faces have some really fine and intricate detail. The molds are very complicated especially because they have A lot of pointy angles, air bubbles are killers. You know much resin is the egg alone? Plus the clear resin with a touch of color. I have to spend several hours casting, cleaning and assembling. Not to mention painting. You can’t compare me to Hasbro. They build thousands and spread the cost over each one. I’m only making two or three for my friends. That’s the great thing about this country, you have a choice. But please do not insult me or my ability, simply say: “No thank you Instead give me some constructive criticism… tell me how I can make my sculpt better, did you like the colors, is it true to the character stuff like that. I didn’t post here to sell it, that’s why I said e-mail and we’ll talk. I posted it here for some feedback. Thanks, Joe
  5. Thanks! Send me an e-mail we can talk. I originally sculpted the base out of Sculpey. Then I casted it in transparent Resin. The tenticles are made of Sculpey Flex. Thanks, Joe joe@amarodesign.com
  6. Hey, I wanted to show you guys the Quintesson figure I made for ToyFare. I sculpted him out of Castilene and them made molds. I made molds so I can make more, I'm sure some fans would like to have one. So far I made one for them and one for me. If you want one let me know and we can work something out. I would definitely trade one for a custom Alternators Bumblebee. Check out my site for the pictures and let me know what you think. Laters, Joe joe@amarodesign.com Quintesson
