The combined mode looks kinda weird. I'll wait to see what the individual robot and vehicle modes look like. But it certainly was surprising. I don't think anyone saw this coming.

Well there is always the comics. I felt it had a stronger story than the cartoon.

I probably would say Bruticus. I like the toys and the character from the G1 cartoon.

Probably more kids liked the Autobots more than the Decepticons. Isn't it usually the case where the good guys are more popular than the bad guys? I don't mind that happened to Megatron. What I don't like is that Galvatron had a different voice and was annoying. And the fact that the plot points in TFTM keep getting re-used over and over again in other series.

In the G1 cartoon, it is implied that Galvatron's extended time being in the lava bath had damaged his brain. Even when he comes out of the lava in FFOD, the animation shows sparks or "shorting out" effects on his head. Even so, Unicron re-made those guys into new beings, not just giving them new bodies. Besides, I think it was Astrotrain that made it clear they are the same person.

Chromia is a get for me, Arcee, Nightbeat too. The Jhiaxus I would if he was G2 comic colors.

So they are like Botshots? I wonder if Botshots can be used with that track set.

Yeah... um... that perspective better be explained in the story.

Looks really good. That riding pic reminded me of the time I tried to see how many TFs I could stack on top of each other. I used to have a picture of it, long gone now.

I have the DOTM Tomica die-cast, its neat I suppose. Better than RPMs. I might be interested in these depending on pictures. But see it has that Q and makes me think Choro-Q which is SD for the most part. We'll see.

Paint made a huge difference. I wasn't seeing "Cy-Kill" in the unpainted prototype pics.

Yeah man, I so remember when Arcee and that White Optimus Prime were around in 1984.

I recently found out about the Macross Jetfire not having a rubsign... and in fact I can't even say I could FIND one with a rubsign. So I was told that none of them had rubsigns. Even my own does not have one! But I am also cautious about finding new variations, especially of opened G1 items. Repairs could have been done on that Jetfire....
