Well what Hasbro did with the story doesn't really count. It only may help understand how actual events shape a story, but as far as canon goes it can't even be mentioned. I took Ultra Magnus' comment to imply he didn't know who these new Decepticons were, as in he didn't know that Megatron was Galvatron. As for why Galvatron referred to Megatron by name to Magnus is unclear. He certainly wasn't insane during TFTM, that happened later. It was never revealed in the story how Astrotrain would know he was Galvatron, as he was not around when he got reformatted. Because if he was, so was Starscream since he was a passenger. You can think whatever you want about Megatron dying during the format, but that is your fanon and not established by the story.

I personally would prefer boxy type packaging. At least for anyone who keeps toys in the package or saves the package, it is easier to store them.

The data disc guys always seemed to be a tad fragile to me. I like the little case they come with, but find that the lid doesn't close all the way if you put a disc in there.

It wasn't explained why the Decepticons treated Galvatron as a different person. It was only in the one episode where the "he's the same guy" line is and no one objected to it. They also never talked about Cyclonus, Scourge or the clones and who they used to be. Its actually interesting that Cyclonus suddenly became the 2nd in command and Scourge was kinda like 3rd. Prior to the movie, Megatron was the leader and there was no real command structure beneath him.

Yes, when I first saw pictures I thought it was supposed to be Sunstorm or some other seeker. I found out later it was Jhiaxus because I never noticed it has a different head.
