Generations 2014 Rattrap, Crosscut and Tankor Revealed!
Tripredacus replied to ExVee's topic in News
As that iteration anyways. Crosscut first appeared in the Marvel US comics. They used that name for the Diaclone reissue and basically ended up making a new character. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Crosscut_%28Decepticon%29 -
Interesting way to attach Mechabot-1's tracks in robot mode in that Swiss catalog. I don't think I've ever seen an Omega Supreme set up that way. Oh and yeah, good luck on finding info on Sky Lynx. All I know is that the toy was designed, reached prototype stage but then wasn't released by Toybox. Instead Hasbro got the mold and made Sky Lynx with it. There is some blurry tiny picture online (I can't find it right now) that is supposed to be a photo of Toybox's prototype. I don't even think packaging, art or story had been made before Hasbro got it. Would be interesting to know more than just it happened to be in Tomy's possession at the time they merged with Takara, and is the reason we got a reissue of it.

What does he need a gun for? Are his fists broken?

Oh they can't make a new cartoon and put it between Season 2 and the movie! None of Hasbro's tricks will work then! Can't make Megatron turn into Galvatron, can't kill Optimus Prime, can't have Unicron show up. Heck, maybe they can put something between Rebirth and Beast Wars. That would work out pretty well, considering Beast Wars is a lot of the current fans' "G1" like it is to the older folks.

I still think the Tank Drone was the best Tankorr, but it was very small. -

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction - Super Bowl Premier for First Movie Teaser
Tripredacus replied to BaCon's topic in News
Great, now I have to watch the Super Bowl. I hope we find out exactly when this commercial will be on so I can work it into my schedule. :bored -
Might be a nice Gundam weapon...

These were always more interesting to me than the Microman guys, although I have a soft spot for Diaclone. And it was always the ones, that for some reason even to this day, I can easily call them by their original series names without having to look anything up. Tokuso Kihei Dorvack Kiko Chutai Beetras Regarding Chop Shop and your question about being released in original colors, Beet Gugal looks way better than the Transformers release. I think Sky Lynx' origin is still probably the foggiest. We know who made him originally, but nothing much more than that. No pre-TF toys were ever released and I think there is a prototype that existed and there is some tiny grainy picture of it. And that's it. Kinda disappointing. Even so, its interesting how popular Diaclone and Microchange toys are, but these other pre-TF guys are not in too high of a demand. This means their Pre-TF releases can be had for a good price, considering how expensive everything else has become over the years.

Transformers Platinum Edition Year of the Horse Starscream Figure and Box Images
Tripredacus replied to BaCon's topic in News
Well we all figured this was what it was... but the question "WHY?" still remains. Also, why is there an insect head on the Decepticon symbol? -
Man, I can't wait until "Dude on Bike" gets released!

iGear Defense Specialist (Voyager sized not-First Aid)
Tripredacus replied to Scaleface's topic in News
So is it a downsized version of the Specialist that was already released? -
Definately looks nice all painted up.

No packaging? How is that going to work?
