Thanks for completely ignoring me, Transfan2... :monkey

I'm sure I've asked already but is there anything in the UK you're after? If not then how much to UK?

  4. Can't a mod edit the title to "Non-TF / Mixed hauls" & create another "TF only hauls" thread? I know which one I'd click...

The only problem I can see stemming from that is people's "definitions" of TF-only hauls. Would Diaclone and Go-Bots be allowed? KO TFs? What about GIJoe gear, seeing as how there's always some crossover of sorts between GIJoe and Transformers. Most people don't appear to have an issue with GIJoe stuff included here in this hauls thread...

Going off on a tangent, I've noticed that this type of discussion starts every time someone posts a large PowerRangers-only haul. Is it something about Power Rangers that sets people off?

I don't see how "TF-only" can be defined as anything other than Transformers??? GI Joe doesn't interest me in the slightest. Power Rangers probably set it off because they suck.

I say post anything. Just because someone else doesn't get it or like it, their non-tf haul might catch the eye of a collector looking for something new or an old toy that's been forgotten about. I know I've seen things in this haul thread that weren't tf related but still made me think "huh, that's pretty cool. Where'd they get that?" Then I'll research it, and if I like it I might try and get one of my own.

That Titanus kicks all kind of a** by the way! I always wanted one to go with my Dragonzord.

I said before that I'll start posting my groceries "hauls" if people keep on. I'm sure you'd all be fascinated by it.

This is a good point. I agree that robot related stuff such as Gundam and Macross is appropriate in this forum. I draw the line though at Power Rangers, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Star Wars, GI Joe, Gilmore Girls dvds, statues of scantily-clad anime girls, etc. I don't say this to be critical, but only because when I come to this forum, I want to see TF related items, things I don't have and, as corny as it sounds, share in the excitement of someone getting a sweet haul, like a nice Fort Max or something. When I see posts have been added and I come in to check them out, and it's something totally not TF related, it's a waste of time. But in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter all that much.

As for me, some G1 Action Card packs today. Kinda cool, I think.

Gundam & Macross may interest some... but not me! It matters enough for me to complain every now & again, but I won't lose any sleep.

  5. Got LOC Blackout, Classic Deluxe Prime/Megs and C Shortround on Friday...

Sheesh, that spinning mechanism in Prime screws up the whole toy... the upper torso just won't stay in the normal position....

Pull the little black tab (the one that makes him spin) out a bit until you feel it click & it holds the waist reasonably firmly. :thumb

  6. I was gonna mention the "Classic" Sunstreaker. They have 1 (& Wheeljack) in a comic shop near me.

That sounds tempting. Whereabouts in the Country is the shop, are they both MISB and what's the price?

Romford (Essex) Indoor Market. They're both MISB & the bloke was asking for £120 each. I wonder if he has a room out back to make up that cost? :tftongue

  7. Onslaught: are those actual outdoor shots of Classics Jetfire?

I've done two outdoor shots before, one of them being that insert shot of Prowl, Sideswipe and Jazz - that's REAL sky in the background!

Yep, it's the real sky and trees in the background, no photoshop involved (although I wish I have the program...). I figured the pictures would look a whole lot better if I took them outside and not inside my home.

And I plan to make more them for this thread some time in the future.

You want PhotoShop? Have a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIMPshop It has almost all the PS functions & it's (legally) free. :thumb

  8. :tflaugh1

    I'm just playin'!

I'm just vexed because my internets have been jumpy recently & it takes a l-o-n-g time to load this page now. :(

I still reckon there should be 2 separate threads though. Seeing the exact same posts with different colour backgrounds just twists my melon. It seems... pointless.

  9. > TFans Transformers Community > Transformers > Transformers Toy Discussion

I think this thread should be used for Transformers & the thread in Remy's forum should be used for all hauls. I like seeing what TFs people buy, but once is enough. The other rubbish doesn't interest me in the slightest most of the time.

If it keeps on, I will start uploading huge photos of my groceries! :thumb

  10. Ok, I tried to embed this but I can't figure it out. The embed html code from the youtube site won't work for me, so if anyone can help out with instructions for embedding on this site let me know.

Now to what I came here for, I tried my hand at a stop motion video for the first time. This being my first video it's a little choppy and pretty much just a learning experience. The video is of movie Jazz transforming from alt to bot. The way some of the joints kinda "pop" into place made it difficult for a smooth video. Anyways, let me know what you think.

  11. Hahaha, a bootleg of a mambo shirt: http://www.mambo.com.au/#/gear/mens/incognito_tee I don't see how legit businesses get away with stuff like this.... unless they have a licence for it.... which i doubt. Funny shirt none the less. :)

It's a completely different shirt BTW.

    Pull the ova one guvnar'

If you can't see the differences now that you have them placed together, I won't bother wasting my time pointing them out.

  12. Finally, one of my dreams come true!

    ebay.jpg

I will enjoy this toy, I'll open him and I'll apply the stickers too.

That was the last TF I bought as a kid! :drool

You could try www.reprolabels.com for stickers maybe - they're better quality than the originals (IMO) & you'll have an original sticker sheet should you ever decide to sell it.

Either way though - ENJOY! :thumb
