  1. Really? Are they good? I heard that FAB Bumblebee suffers the same shoulder problem as 6inch Titanium G1 Ultra Magnus. :tflaugh I have FAB Bumblebee. He is ok...I dont really like the FABs though. What shoulder problem do you speak of?
  2. oh snap, and I just gave away my cyb Swerve....stupid
  3. Definitely. I got one in Boston last weekend, and I love the guy. Dropkick also kicks major ass as well. I'm wondering if I should pick up more of these non-movie deluxes... :P The only other one I have is Arcee and I completely recommend her. Great figure, articulation and posability. I'll pick up Dropkick another time. Leader Brawl though throws my entire collection off so as awesome as he looks, I'm resisting temptation. If I knew there would be other Leaders released, those mofo's would be coming home with me.
  4. I almost shat myself yesteday. Wal Mart re-stocked and not only did they have the new stuff in....Leader Brawl, Dropkick, Longarm....they also had old stuff...74 Bumblebee, Barricade, Blackout. I ended up walking out with a 74 Bee and Longarm. Bee is awesome, of course as I have one already but wanted one to display in car mode....Longarm is VERY sweet. The non-movie characters really dont have the movie esthetics IMO.
  5. Having a pic taken with 2 aspiring Hustler models does not trick anyone into thinking you have luck with ladies. Reality check.... uuuhhh ya, so my haul for today is coming home from work and picking up my daughter, looking at some TFs and having dinner on the table that my beautiful wife cooked.
  6. Bought Robot Replicas Bumblebee a few days ago. meh, its a pretty nice action master but if I wasn't so ghey for BB I wouldn't have minded never owning it for the rest of my life.
  7. How do you feel about Magnus? I'm still interested in that fig. I've hated every 6in Titanium fig I've bought so far though. Well I haven't opened him yet. I think I'm too into the movie esthetics to get geeked about Magnus. It was more of a "buy now or I'll regret it later" deal. Inside the box he looks pretty cool. The shoulders are very far back. Size wise, he seems larger than previous Titaniums. If you haven't liked the previous ones, I doubt this will change your mind. Not sure what he goes for online, but I wouldn't overpay for him. I'm just a Magnus fan from childhood (my old screenname was UltraMarknus) and wanted to own a true Magnus update mold. If Rodimus didn't impress you, I doubt Magnus will IMO.
  8. ZOMG ANOTHER HAUL!! Went to the local Zellers and there was Magnus on the top "extra crap that won't fit" shelf. I climbed that mofo and got it down. Then hit the local Wal-Mart...I see Arcee...Dreadwing...I tell myself "They are not Powerglideing with this guy today" and climb to the top shelf AGAIN and SHAZAM!! BUMBLEBEEEEEEEEEEE!! The scalpers didn't beat me this time...
  9. Got Leader Megs today. I don't know how many people out there like him, but I LOVE him. Yes, the colour scheme is horrible but he is one big bad ass toy. I'm muling over whether to get voyager or not. One question...how the heck are you suppose to form the fusion cannon??? can't figure it out!! EDIT: oh ya, I also got the Real Gear PlayStation remote guy...that thing is addictive to fiddle around with.
  10. Indeed...that is why my LC Prime is displayed far away from V Prime heh.
  11. Picked up Voyager Prime yesterday. REALLY great toy. I love it. But really, no comparison to Leader Prime IMO...sorry people. But on a budget, Voyager is a great stand in. His size makes him a little easier to handle. If this was the only movie Prime they made, it would've been fine. The backpack isn't an issue to me and really, not much kibble on him at all. I also have my eyes on Arcee...I wanted to avoid non-movie characters...but considering she was close to being in it and she looks pretty damn cool, I may give in.
  12. Congrats!! If you want to sell one, let me know! :tfgrin
  13. and this thread loves you! Is the lighting something you set up pre or post shooting? Thanks. I have a light tent kit (two small flourescent lights and a fabric photo tent) which provides the lighting for my photos. Some minimal effects (like diffuse ligthing or grain) are added in PhotoShop on some pictures - but I'm such an amatuer using that program I've only figured out how to use a few of the tools!! aaahh got it..well about photoshop...join the club...and I use it for a living...ssshhhh
  14. OK, now tell us where you found your wife! Lucky man... :thumb I'm still in shock...she went to see it as a "take one for the team, my husband is a little kid that needs to get his way once in a while...plus we've have 4 free movie tickets" and ended up enjoying it. Actually, quite a few of my friends have seen it, with no interest, and ended up loving it. What shocked me the most is when I stepped aside to play the PS3 demo and she took the opportunity to get an associate to get the TF game out of the cabinet without me knowing...damn...damn. Now, getting her to give me time to play the game is the challenge.
  15. Went to see TFTM last night with my wife and now she is pretty geeked about TFs. She actually suggested we go to Wal Mart to see the figures (though I have almost all of them already). We didn't find anything new but then she led me to the electronics section and bought me the game for Wii...w00t WooT!

  17. You just blew my mind. I'd like to get that bumblebee by himself but I don't think its too likely. TEH HUNT BAGINZZZ
  18. Hmmm I have an Omega Supreme box... But nothing inside. It's the French version, which was not sold as a Transformer but as Robotrack/Mecabot. The Italians had a similar issue. I'd prefer a TF box, and untorn. But it seems he has recently climbed some more steps on the price ladder. Thanks all :D Any pics and willing to sell? :tflaugh
  19. See you there! Well, not really because I have no idea what you look like...so technically ya I can still see you I just wont know it...ya
  20. Nothing moderate about your collection. Its one of the nicest I've seen. G1 goodness that my collection lacks heh and mmmmmmmmm Overlord! Didn't notice a G1 Omega Supreme though...maybe I missed it or its possible you are insane for not owning one hahaha jk! EDIT: I didn't realize they had remolded BB's head in the reissue. that set has just became insanely cool to me. Too bad I have all the G1 originas and the price of that set has gotten a little out of hand
  21. Really? You may want to invest in new friends...or go out to drink
  22. Actually, I made the calculation, and I'm paying just a tad less than Canadian MSRP+tax when I order large shipments from BBTS... I've paid approx. $16.50CDN per Deluxe figure, while if I were to pick 'em up in store, they'd be $14.99+tax=$17.08... :P Maybe its diff in QC, but here Wal Mart has them for $13.97 + tax = $15.93 :redface Indeed...I think that was my disappointment. I'm still not too hot on his robot mode...but dino is pretty kick arse actually
  23. Got Classics Grimlock at Wal Mart today. It is honestly the first of the Classics that I was disappointed with. He just seems like an updated BW Dinobot to me, and he just isn't as put together as well...the way the head and shoulders attach to the body reminds me of the mess that is Lio Convoy. If I wasn't an all of a sudden Classics completist, I would sell him off right now. ......I'm sure he'll grow on me.... Freedom Gundam....just wondering why you pay out the ass to get stuff from BBTS when they are coming out locally already??
