  1. The color shift and failure to include the giant orange hunk of plastic to give a sleek car a more winnebago look made Roddy awful? I got him at tru and I think he's a great and solid figure! The trailer just opened up into a goofy looking battle platform. I did not feel like I was missing out on much of anything by not getting it. I like the targetmaster a lot more
  2. Sideswipe will be marked down considerably when he comes stateside. As will the constructicons. If you assume each will cost $50-60, then devs will be about $360. Rodimus was how much in Japan? Over here, he's only $60. Optimus 2.0 was almost $200...and here, he's just $100. There's a reason I never buy imports :P
  3. And the TFCtoys combiners will still mean nothing to me because they cost twice as much as they should anyway....so who cares what 3rd party companies make? Takara will make MP devs if they want to, TFCtoys be damned! Takara Devs would be just as cool and cost a fair price
  4. I second the need for a new MP megs. I would preorder that one so fast....
  5. I hate reading subs too. But this toy looks promising. I will buy
  6. why would hasbro not want to release it? what could be their possible reasoning for that??
  7. I believe the previous Devy, as horrible a toy as he is, actually sold somewhat well. And I don't want to think MP Devy is a pipe dream at all if it's true that someone stated they want to make one someday
  8. Hatchet failed to me simply because his alt mode was completely wrong
  9. Well if all the MP Constructicons are the same size as MP Sideswipe, which is pre-ordering for around $90, it's pretty safe to assume that each figure would be about the same price so 90x6=540, yeah that won't be outrageous at all. :-P They'd be bigger than the Hercules components.... And when Hasbro imports them at tru, the price will drop. Maybe even to $50 if they're as small as Sideswipe here. Not to mention every single other MP TF cost over $100 to preorder and import. So sideswipe is gonna end up MUCH cheaper after Hasbro offers him.
  10. Same here. I just want a combiner in general! Devy would be the best choice since he was the first and most popular
  11. I might just preorder Sounders and call it a day. I'm laying low and looking for a Megatron around $150ish too. but that's another day Sideswipe I'm gonna hold out on and hope for a US release. Hasbro has no reason not to import a simple car transformer, especially a cool looking one like Sideswipe here With Soundwave finally made, I wonder....Would a masterpiece Devastator be too much to hope for?
  12. If they're only $30, I'll buy both. I was expecting $40 or $50, so this would be fantastic
  13. When you wake up from that dream, let me know. That's exactly what's wrong with this hobby now. To want something legit is now unrealistic thinking and seen as a "dream" by the fandom. Don't you think that's a problem? I said HASBRO prices after all. Meaning Hasbro could charge what they thought was right, and would likely cost less than $200 That is the problem isn't it? Hasbro actually doing it, which they wont. Which is also sad Agreed. Hasbro could be making some really cool toys, but they keep choosing not to. These 3rd party companies should be inspiring them These 2 jets look like real works of art. Yet it seems Hasbro is too arrogant to bother looking them over and getting some inspiration from the designs
  14. I didn't know about her fail when I bought her....I agree with everything Peaugh said in this review. This figure is even more disappointing than PRiD Bumblebee. EVERY other Prime toy has been excellent except for those 2!
  15. Military Family 3 kids and a wife plenty of bills and I can still afford Transformers like Hercules Auto parts Family 17 month old son Child support and bills bills bills And I can afford Transformers like Hercules CNC Machinist Single and living at home small few expenses Could maybe afford $600 TFs, but would be a lot of money in the hole. I only make $400 a week, so he'd cost a whole paycheck and THEN some! I could afford, but JUSTIFY the cost? hell naw! When you wake up from that dream, let me know. That's exactly what's wrong with this hobby now. To want something legit is now unrealistic thinking and seen as a "dream" by the fandom. Don't you think that's a problem? I said HASBRO prices after all. Meaning Hasbro could charge what they thought was right, and would likely cost less than $200
  16. yeah I'll settle for the $100.00 with free shipping, no need to hunt the toys down, better colors, and a nicer box. Might even get cliffjumper too
  17. I guess September isn't too bad of a wait. Still, I wish that case came with Shockwave instead of a second OP. Then I might've bought it....
  18. Bruticus in in wave 2??? Aw dammit that means I have to wait till like...Winter or something now.... :redface

Oh god that was great! I think I need to start a RvB thread in the off-topic section here....

  20. Oh really? I guess the site I was on didn't know then. They just said it's illegal to import the toy, so that made me worried. Thanks for the info Now to debate with myself on if I want to pay $200+ for one....
  21. Blurr was great! Not one of my huge favorites, but he was definitely cool!
