  1. Awesome! There's an Aldi on the way home. I'll definitely stop by now! Maybe I'll pick up some repaints now!
  2. Yes, this is the exactly the upgrade kit I was mentioning. Sorry for the lack of info! I like Ultra Magnus as is too, but I totally want to see the upgrade kit. It looks pretty badass in the preview.
  3. Does anyone know when the Fall Of Cybertron Ultra Magnus upgrade kit will be available? I've seen the teaser poster, but that was many months ago. Now that I've finally been able to buy a FOC Ultra Magnus in the US, I'm dying to see that upgrade kit. Any ideas on a price point?
  4. Well, Blue Rager is named differently. It's MW-09 as opposed to MW-02P or whatever they would have named it. Maybe that is some foreshadowing that it is a retool. Plus, original Pipes was more of a retool of Huffer, and not solely a repaint. Though, I suppose with only 500 pieces being made, it might not be reasonable to retool the toy. Gah! I don't know what to think. It probably doesn't matter anyway as the single Blue Rager figure is already sold out. The only way to get one is to buy the two pack with the Spray repaint.
  5. So it looks like the blue repaint is supposed to be Pipes. Was there ever a green and black Seaspray? That one just looks odd. Looks more like the GI Joe Hovercraft. Are these iGear official? I don't see any on the iGear site. Plus, as Hellscream said, iGear has been retooling things to make other TF characters. I don't count the ones like Black Rager as he was simply a repaint.
  6. I totally agree. The original Miniwarriors were somewhere around $18. That's just about the same price as a Transformer in the stores. I would gladly pay the same price for a more highly-detailed, simpler-transforming toy. Assuming that everything will now be in the Hench size and price point, it will be tougher. I will most likely not be able to collect the whole line now. I'll have to pick and choose. Even at the $35, though, it's still more affordable than $95 for something like the Hercules bots. At least I can consider buying these. Maybe I'll bite the bullet... I'm secretly hoping they will still put these out in the original Rager scale and pricepoint, but based on their prototype pics, it doesn't look like that will be the case.
  7. What do you guys think of iGear's MiniWarrior line? I think they look amazing! Their not-Huffer (Rager) and not-Seaspray (Spray) looked great! I love the detail, I love the great articulation, and I love their simple transformations. It just makes for a great throwback feeling in the hand. Their new bots look great too! Personally, I'd prefer them to all be released in the smaller size (like Rager and Spray) as these are all remakes of minibots (plus, the simpler transformation seems better suited to a smaller toy) as opposed to the slightly larger not-Brawn (Hench) and not-Cosmos (UFO). Still, Hench and UFO look so good, I may just pick them up anyway.
  8. Thanks! I have placed my order. I have only recently discovered the glory of 3rd Party Transformers in general, and these igear Mini-Warriors look amazing! I'm glad that I am now able to pick up a Rager toy. Now I just need to find a Spray at a decent price and I can start to collect all of the MW's!

    Seeking Hegemon

Howdy, I've only recently gained an appreciation for 3rd party Transformers, and I was really excited to see the Hegemon figure. I can finally pick up a badass looking megatron who still transforms into a cool looking pistol. The only online retailer that I have found that sells one is 3rdpartystore.com, but the site doesn't look very impressive. Has anyone used them that can vouch for their service? Or does anyone happen to know of another retailer that has Hegemon in stock? I might just end up on ebay, but I'd prefer to go through a retailer (for the customer service potential) of some sort, especially when I'm paying over $100 for a Transformer.
  11. Awesome! As one who mainly buys Kre-O sets for the Kreons, this will help tremendously. The Kreons are amazingly detailed for being little minifigures. I'm super pumped that they are doing full lines of Kreons now. Can't wait to see the combiners next year!
