  1. Taaron: A friend showed me these at a local hobby shop in my neck of the woods. I already like legos and robots, so I fell in love with the line when that friend let me try his sets out. Plus this weekend he's gonna sell me a pile of parts that can fill a TF:P Voyager box for a song! I can't wait to get cranking on making my own robots!

Nice! They're fun little kits. I think I tried cleaning out BBTS when they had them on a clearance sale. :tflaugh (just a warning, though. some sockets don't like to keep ahold of the balljoints. I built a little mini-custom, and it's limbs kept popping out of the sockets. XD )

  2. Yesterday's haul turned out to be a good one!

    Ultra Magnus

    Kreon Micro-Change:

    Cyberverse Commander:

  4. After a good dentist visit, walked over to Toys R Us and Target.

    Picked up:

    @ Toys R Us:

Wiifit cover (clearanced out at $2.)

Adventure Time B-MO figure (Not sure why. I've only seen like two episodes of Adventure Time, but the anim gifs on Tumblr made me a fan of the character, I guess.)

    Transformers Fall of Cybertron Shockwave

    Lego Ninjago Samurai X Mech

Met with a friend, and headed over to Best Buy. Ended up picking up a Logitech G330 headset, since my Rosetta Stone headset's mic went out.

Then went over to Burger King and got to play with their new Coca Cola Freestyle machine. Had Coca Cola Orange, Mello-Yello Peach, and Barq's Vanilla! I want a Freestyle machine for my apartment.

  5. imho below:

No thanks,I'm not into buying TF statues.

I never had any of the 1970's/1980's Shoguns warriors,So I don't need/want TF versions of this.

It's worth a serious mention. that the Japanese 1985 G-1 cartoon series. called Our USA optimus Prime by the Japanese name "Shogun Convoy".

It's not worth a serious mention, as they didn't. If they did, it'd be common knowledge by now. :tflaugh

As for the Super Shoguns, seems kinda neat, but I wonder what makes these different from the Japanese Vinyl statues released during the 90s?

  6. I think that it also comes in the traditional Iron Man colors as well.

Overall, the Captain America mech suit is pretty nice... it fits a standard figure inside, and the articulation is average - neck swivels, shoulders, elbows, and wrists all turn. The legs move at the hips, and the ankles pivot, but the fact that it's a mech suit limits the legs a bit. For example, there are no knees.

It comes with tons of interchangeable missile pods and guns, but it was also a bit light on the paint details. I had to paint the eyes and the gatling gun muzzle red, and the belt buckle and hand repulsers yellow. They are minor details, but it helps. I also added the "shield" on his back from the Captain America Transformer Crossover, and I used the Iron Patriot figure instead of the standard Captain America that it came with.

Here is a few more shots after the paint apps:

I love that thing. Just don't like the hole in the chest, seems counter productive to having a giant armored suit. Thats why when I get one, I'm going to somehow get Cap's shield over it. It'll look sweet as a chestplate.

Not sure how Cap'n America's Shields are done for the toyline, but might they be able to just hook over the edge? I'd love to see how it looks, too. Very tempted to get Cap'n America and Ironman mechs if I see 'em. The shield thing might just push me over the edge. :tflaugh

  7. So, I went to Target and finally found new TFs!

After month or so of looking, I found Prime Arcee. :D

Also found the biggest WTF I'd even seen at Target.

DOTM Deluxes for $30. (They had 3 Nitro Bees, both pegs marked with $30 tag. Price Scanned to confirm, and called over a guy with a price gun to see if he knew what was going on.)

  8. Yes!!! Had never heard of them before. Have you done business with them before?

    :redface Never personally.

I wanted to buy stuff from them for years, but the feedback I'd find each time I'd be tempted to place an order would scare/chase me away.

  9. I just got finished purchasing a BR-04 Blackwidow from the Japanese Toys R Us exclusive "Beast Wars Returns" line. I've been looking for this figure for a while and could never find it!!!! I found a site in HI that has it. Now I will finally have a Blackarachnia in pink colors!!!! Mwwaahahahahahaha!!!!!

Did this site happen to be ToysNJoys?

  10. Prime Soundwave sure keeps finding ways to endear himself to me. :tflaugh

When I first bought him a while back, he quickly made friends:

and kept those smaller from harm: (I suspect Soundwave will kill me in my sleep for this photo.)

and then, after this struggle with Prime: (which proves he's not much a rock n roll fella, but he gets the picture done. Such a good sport.)

Soundwave proves, he was made to rock.

    series 1 bot shots

    optimus prime

    sentinel prime

wave 1 transformers prime cyberverse legion

It looks like your electric outlet might need a shave. It's certainly getting it's beard on. :tflaugh

    How's the BotShots?

  12. Looking forward to PE RC!

However, I'm not sure I'm fond of the idea of PE also doing a blue Arcee RC. Kind of makes me worried that/wonder if Hasbro would drop the gavel on 'em for it. (I'd honestly preferred a brown redeco, called Nancy, with an optional new head design, so we'd have some Junkion females.)

That said, I'm pretty fond of their RC design, so I'll probably end up getting both and then some.

  13. "Open, Dammit. Open! Prime...I get it when it didn't open for Magnus...but c'mon. Light our darkest hour already!" "Please don't activate my flashlight. They said I'll die if I turn it on."

  14. Here's my latest haul (that I've been arsed to photograph :lol )

    ThinkGeek: 12/05/2011

    Camera Lens Mug

Portal Turret LED Flashlight w/ Sound

    Canned Unicorn Meat

    Bonsai Kitty Plush

    Wheatley LED Flashlight

E is for Energy Tank Mug

    HLJ: 12/7/2011

    Kotobukiya D-Style:

    #11 Gaogaigar

    GundamStore&More: 12/8/2011 (no pic. Just a 14 lb box)

No idea what's in here! It's a big pile of "Don't Open till X-Mas" mystery.

All I know it consists of:

    A 19" Gundam Stuffed Stocking & a Gundam Pencil

Japanese Candy and Snack Sack Stocking Stuffer

Holiday Special! Gundam Surprise Pack #1

Holiday Special! Gundam Surprise Pack #2

    Holiday Special! Action Base Package

    Super Deformed: Qubeley 3-Pc. Set

:schin It's looking like a Transformers free X-Mas for me, isn't it?

Did you put the trailer part on backwards or is that what the instructions want you to do?

That's how the instructions had it. What makes you think it's backwards? The ramp/door is in back, and the blue part in front matchs the design of movie Prime's trailer.

Took me a few moments to notice, but I think it's the side panels. The product photography has the Autobot symbol closer to the ramp/door, as opposed to towards the truck.
