  1. The price on these is going to hurt more than the catheter in that exo-suit, isn't?
  2. Well I'm not one to let a sub-par alt-mode slide just because the robot mode is nice. I also have no idea why Toyworld seems to be making the cockpits with such a low profile. They're almost flat.
  3. It looks like Hasbro's MP Grimlock, minus the extra bit of paint on the legs.
  4. I bought the Korean version of that years ago. $149.99 seems like a lot of money for Fire Convoy.
  5. Unless they give him bloated fists and a purple Roller, I don't think there's much they can do to make this one different from the Takara-Tomy and TRU MP Optimus Prime toys.
  6. This is nothing. Just a way to keep the robot a secret and mess with people.
  7. This is a fine coincidence. As I grow weary of the high cost of Third Party products, Hasbro is now going to make toys that I actually want to buy.
  8. CM Corp? Uh-oh, I guess that means Spike, Daniel and the those Exo-Suits are going to be expensive.
  9. If so, then that is unfortunate, but Hasbro should at least abandon the obviously iffy Macross Jetfire and just go with the design of Skyfire from the G1 cartoon.
  10. Uh-oh. This why Hasbro should just abandon Jetfire and use Skyfire.
  11. Unless a booster pack is all it takes to violate the copyright, I don't think that Harmony Gold stands a chance. They might as well sue Revell for making an F-14 model kit.
  12. For Japan, and consequently for the rest of the world, a Masterpiece Transformer has a release date and is sold as any other Transformer would be sold. We put in our pre-orders. The toys arrive to the respective online retailers and everything is fine. For the U.S., thanks to Hasbro and the poor market for toys these days, a Masterpiece Transformer is relegated to a single retailer who simply MUST tie the release in with an event like SDCC and never have a steady supply of the product.
  13. Maybe this is the last time. The prototypes of TFC Not-Predacons show them holding guns and swords and Not-Streetwise appears to have a handgun and the big lasers for the alt-mode.
  14. Agreed. It's just a Deluxe Class Gears, nothing more. I guess going from G1 Minibot to a toy with elbow and knee joints makes it a Masterpiece. :tflaugh
  15. It makes IGear's version look like a cheap bootleg.
  16. I'm starting to think that TFC is going to have the best Predaking.
  17. I sell my Transformers for two reasons, space and money. I sold all of my Transformers Alternators a few months ago. Thanks to the new Masterpiece Transformers, I have no use for any Alternators. I prefer the G1 representations of the characters, I was able to get rid of a few storage boxes in the basement and I have extra money to buy the new toys. I have also sold all of my Transformers Animated toys, anything from Cybertron or Energon I may have had, which mostly were repaints done for other lines, and Movie toys. Thanks to the MP-11 mold, I was also able to be rid of my Walmart MP Sta
  18. The top hat on Prime is kind of silly. He's supposed to be steam engine that transforms into Optimus Prime, not Optimus Prime as a Steampunk cosplayer. I do like that Soundwave and Megatron are based on the G1 toys rather than their cartoon appearance. Bumblebee looks good too. It was kind of weak for Hearts of Steel to have both Prime and Bumblebee as steam engines.
  19. Not worth the price. I'm just fine with Hasbro's toys. In fact, I feel like I've gotten over the whole, "It's better in Japan," thing, regarding mainstream Transformer toys that is and excluding stuff like the Masterpiece line.
  20. Impossible Toys always seemed to be on the fringe anyway. I like the Alicon and have it on pre-order, but those Tertrajets looked bad. I don't know if they changed the heads on them, but I'm not interested enough to buy them. I wonder how long it'll be before collectors have had enough of 3rd party companies? Will we finally just give up from figurative exhaustion, especially when it comes to the price of a lot of 3rd party toys?
