  1. Yeah, RtS Lugnut is a great toy. I love the way the wings turn into arms, a good example of how the larger size class can benefit a Transformer's design.
  2. I bought, opened, transformed, and returned TFP Hot Shot. The alt-mode looks nice, but that robot mode is lousy. There's no way to lock the torso into place and the auto-transform gimmick prevents the head from being flush with the top of the torso.
  3. Oh G1 Bludgeon, why are you so ugly yet so expensive? (sigh)

Goes against everything you learned in a bar, doesn't it?

  4. Would it be unwise to bet on the chance that the TFCC store will have ANY Botcon 2012 toys after the convention is over?

I don't think they had too many. I was going to buy some Saturday but I think they were all already gone.

  5. Do you ever get a little paranoid when a person with an ebay store wins your ebay auctions?

  6. Between the keyword spamming, PVC figures, and now the BotCon toy, it's going to be a pain in the rear to search for G1 Overlord on ebay.

  7. If Hasbro had made TFC Hercules and charged $30 per Constructicon, I think people would still say that it costs too much.

  8. I saw last year's CostCo exclusive Supreme Class movie Bumblebee at Marshall's today. It's $34.99. They had one.

  9. The Starcats look like a combiner team from some other toy line, like the Brave Series of robot toys. The "Dinobots" still look like some sort of weird dollar store set.
  10. How about The DinoChange Combiner Force which forms the super-robot Combinosaur! That's what these feel like to me, some weird set of dinosaur transforming robots that are sold at Big Lots.
  11. Something about them just doesn't look right. They look like they belong to some other toy line, not Transformers, if that makes any sense. I also don't think much of Dinobots as a combiner team. I think it's one of the silliest idea that the fandom has ever latched onto.
  12. Anyone else think that the pictures of MP-10 are lousy at selling the toy? Nothing about it looks impressive. Are there secrets that we aren't supposed to know until it's release?

I am with you 100% - I cant see ANY reason this thing can be worth the price tag.

I'd rather spend that amount of money on the Optimus DMK model.

  13. The folks commenting over at the TFSource Facebook page must be the most blindly cheerful people on the face of the Earth. They like anything. LOL.

  15. Was there ever supposed to be Transformers United Windcharger? No online store that sells Japanese Transformers has a pre-order for one.

  17. Thank you Blitz-Wing for locking that stupid WFC/Exodus/Prime thread.

  18. They are in China, where Copyright enforcement isn't that strict on Chinese companies copying non-Chinese products. Anyways, Lego lost a legal case recently protecting their brick design, and technically it doesn't say "Optimus Prime" and it doesn't have an Autobot symbol... so Hasbro can't say much about some red and blue block robot. Still, if Hasbro and Lego got together and released the "real thing" with this design in the US for about $25-30, I bet it would sell. They should do the fair thing and copy the design from Kazi right back! I don't know if official Lego Transformers would be as good as these. Most licensed Lego products seem to have a lot pre-made parts, requiring little assembly.
  19. That Jetfire looks a lot better than the Leader class toy.
  20. Like I said in my post, I don't think anyone was going to sing the praises of Bumblemus for posting that schedule. If anyone assumed it was his, then that's their business, but most news posted here comes from somewhere else and I think most of us know that.

  21. I got a G1 Brainstorm today and the hip joints were locked up. The legs almost couldn't move. I sprayed the joint with WD-40 and now they work like new.

Careful dude, that stuff can damage some plastics... which you would already know by now if it damaged yours... but you know... just case :)

  22. So, does anything extra come with the set or is TFSource just lying to get people to buy their add-on kit?
  23. I tried Roadbots once. They're lousy. I did get them in a similar BBTS clearance sale, so didn't feel bad about throwing them into the recycling can

  24. Interesting. I may wait and get this one rather than that other trailer. I see a seam down the center of the trailer's roof and a hinge on the side at the bottom of the trailer. So that means it will open up like the G1 trailer. I hope there are more interesting things inside of it.
