  1. One Targemaster and one PCC Minicon, neither of which looks good when attached to the alt-mode.
  2. The Constructicon B.A.T. and Destro appear to come from existing molds from the 25th/POC line of figures. They should have all of the articulation that fans have come to expect from the modern Joe figures.
  3. That cost more than MP Rodimus Prime. I guess it could be worse. The price per toy is still cheaper than, say, the Deluxe class toys that are sold by the TFCC or an imported Takara-Tomy toy.
  4. That Jar Jar in carbonite is stupid. Does the Star Wars fandom now have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for something they haven't seen before? And who both hates Jar Jar enough, but still rabidly collects Star Wars, to spend that kind of money on such a thing? Considering the price of Deluxe toys now, that's only about $8 more per Transformer. I suppose it could be worse. I think, if anyone wants these and has bought other stuff like TFCC toys, Takara-Tomy stuff, or 3rd party Transformers, they can't complain about $100 for SDCC Bruticus. The price for SDCC Jinx seems correct. The collector oriented toys were already up to $10 at retail anyway. That Derpy Hooves Pony seems wrong. I've got this feeling that "derpy" has subtly replaced the term "retard".
  5. Yes you are, you said special effects, well CGI is special effects, the explosions were special effects and they were great and kept somewhat realistic and still beliavable. I'm talking about how Transformers need to be more than just visual effects. They need to be treated more as characters, like in the best CGI animated movie. A waste of good CGI is worse than CGI that's just bad, and that's what the Transformers movies are, a waste of good CGI. I hate to bring up the humans again, but I watching the movie Bad Boys. It's pretty good, but it's also a smaller movie than any of the Transformers films, but that's okay. Maybe smaller is better for Transformers. I want a movie to be able to focus on the Autobots and Decepticons in the same way Bad Boys is Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and the police, versus the drug dealing villains, with innocent bystanders caught in between. In the case of Transformers, the innocent bystanders, would be our human characters.
  6. Then you should weep for the entire human race. I'll weep for the fans who like to say that Bay raped their childhood, or laugh at them, because the movies were amazing, the best thing to do is stop comparing them to G1 or thinking they are G1. Now that I think about it I will laugh They don't have to be G1, but they don't have to suck either, and they do suck. After the first movie proved to be a success, which means that they can afford to spend more money on the sequel, they should have put more focus on the Transformers. The reason the cheap old cartoon is so memorable is because it was about Transformers, not humans. Transformers aren't dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, or some kind of generic visual effects creatures that have no personality. They're living robots that talk. Let them talk. Let them be the movie, not just visual effects. yet, the g1 cartoon had plenty of humans all over the place. Spike was every where screaming and whining just as much as Shia did. Even in the G1 comics, there were humans. Humans have been apart of every Transformers cartoon since the beginning with the exception of Beast Machines. So guess what, there will be humans in TF4. Transformers are the main draw but their relationship to humans and trying to live among them is also an integral part of their story. And Puma just hit it the nail right there. humans have been a part of every show except for Beast Machines. And there has always been a main human except for Beast Wars where they were protohumans but what can you do about it? How they were able to make all 3 movies fit seamlessly with each other was also amazing, one right after the other and From what I can recall, none of the movies contradicted the other which is rare and was last pulled off by Star Wars. The Live Action Transformers movies are considered a pinnacle of CGI in movies. and even proved the uselessness of film critics as they all said they were bad, and the movies gave the critics the middle finger as they road together to $2.8 Billion. I'm not talking about the CGI.
  7. Then you should weep for the entire human race. Flame baiting much? Its my BDay and I don't wanna be mean to anyone today. You have been spared a warn. That said, there better not be a next time. :mwahaha Did you see any flaming? All I did was have a discussion after that, nothing more. You don't give this forum's members, not counting myself, a lot credit do you? Did you see Lord Onslaught get upset? No.

Transformers are the main draw but their relationship to humans and trying to live among them is also an integral part of their story. They can be there, they just don't have to be the focus of the movie. I'll even take more interaction between Transformer characters and humans, even if the Transformers are in vehicle mode, sort of like Knight Rider. The humans shouldn't have a direct connection to Transformers though, like Sam and his great, great grandfather's glasses. I prefer a chance meeting.
  9. Seriously how did they suck? There was a lot more focus on the Transformers in both ROTF and DOTM then there was in the first one. The only thing that sucked out of all of them, was the story of the Fallen, it could have been good if done right, and many of the figures are considered the best figures from Transformers. It is really hard to Top ROTF Leader Prime. You can't build them, the only way is CGI, and the CGI was amazing in all of the movies, it definitely felt like they were real It didn't seem that Transformer centric to me. They were a real waste of time. Just like with the G1 cartoon, there are so many things that could have been done better in the movies. The first movie was okay, but it should have been Megatron leading the Decepticons in search of the Allspark. The second one should have been about the Constructicons only, and basically made into a giant-monster movie, like Godzilla. The third could have been another Megatron led adventure, perhaps this time about the search for energy or something. Ironically, I think they took these movies far too seriously in trying to create an overall story arc, which was made up as they went along anyway. It wasn't necessary.
  10. what does shipping look like? $12.99.

  12. Blitzwing would have been better if his parts locked into place. I wanted to like the toy, but it just didn't work out. Shockwave was okay, but there wasn't much to that transformation. I still wish there was a voyager Thundercracker. I don't know why, but I really like that jet design and the robot mode. Blurr was a very impressive toy.
  13. God damn it! That looks really nice, so nice that I don't care if the robot is a nobody. In fact that I'm going to order one, I am FPC member after all, so I might as well.
  14. Car. Honestly, as much as I'd like to not think about it, a motorcycle just make no sense as an alt-mode for any Transformer. They're just too small and there isn't enough there for it to turn into a robot. The only that's passable is G1 Wreck-Gar and the Junkions, but only because I imagine them as being Transformer-sized motorcycles rather than human-sized motorcycles.
  15. I know there's no place else to put the Targetmaster and Minicon, but man does that look cheap. All that money and they couldn't make a ladder to replace the crane?
  16. Don't be deliberately negative. You know that Sideswipe would at least come with the existing accessories. Something like those jackhammer things and Soundwave's energon cubes are pretty simple would make them stand-out from Takara-Tomy's toys. Hell, Hasbro made a whole Targetmaster for their MP Hot Rod. since Hot Rod didn't come with his trailer... Also Grimlock only came with three accessories and two of those were his weapons...... I'm not being deliberately negative... but Hasbro has a tendency to strip MP's to darn near bare minimum....and on to Rodimus again, those paint apps, or rather lack of paint apps.... That trailer scared the crap out of Hasbro. There's no way they would have risked the higher price point for Rodimus. As for Grimlock, I like the fun little accessories that came with Takomy's version, but I can admit that they were frivolous; plenty of fans made of fun of them. A couple of couple of energon cubes and chromed jackhammer attachments are completely different. Point being Hasbro has never even attempted to make their version even equivalent to the TakaraTomy release, what makes you think they'd try to make a better version? But Hasbro does do things to make their MP toys different. I think these very simple accessories will do just that.

  19. I wouldn't be surprised if these accessories were included with the toys when they're released by Hasbro.
  20. Another one? This is like a misguided war effort. Everyone is making jeeps when we also need tanks, airplanes and ships.
  21. I think Smokescreen, is going to be Hot Shots name in Japan. so yes it is another F$&King Bumblebee :agree
  22. I bought, opened, transformed, and returned TFP Hot Shot. The alt-mode looks nice, but that robot mode is lousy. There's no way to lock the torso into place and the auto-transform gimmick prevents the head from being flush with the top of the torso.
  23. Wasn't TFC Roller the company's first Transformer toy? It was made to go with MP-01 and the leader class Optimus Prime from the first movie. Anyway, I got the TFC Iron Army toys in the mail today. They are great. I found PCC Steelshot at TRU to go with them. Heavy Tread seems to be the ideal PCC, but I'm not going to take any extra effort, or pay too much, for that toy. Besides, I feel like another tank would be redundant.
