Oh Blast-Off, what have those game designers done to you?

That's a lot better looking than the plain plastic that was used by Takara-Tomy.

I've been champing at the bit to buy some kind of new Transformer from a retail store. I'll probably FoC Optimus Prime. I like the design.

They don't really transform. You just bend the legs, add a few extra parts, and then you have the alt-mode. The combined modes appear to be form in a similar manner. Yeah I know,I saw the same exact pics & read the same exact info that everyone else saw. These kreo/kreon remind me of & have evolved liked the Hasbro 1990 action masters that couldn't transform into alt mode. then later on UK Hasbro released those action masters that could transform into simplistic/cheap robot modes. then the UK did those action masters elite exo-suits. Someone another forum just pointed out that each team is missing one member. So there's another strike against them.

Springer is kind of cheap, but I'd be tempted to buy all of them of if I saw them in a store.

I'm fully aware that these are simple things, but come on, these aren't really transforming Transformers. Make some real Kre-O kits that transform, then I'll be excited.

So, back to Mastermind Creations Cyclops (not HOS Shockwave). I ordered on at TFSource, along with the new TFP Arms Micron Breakdown. Both were too good to resist. The final pictures of Shockwave really sold me on the toy.

Maybe Takara-Tomy would make an exception regarding Ironhide and Ratchet. They sure didn't have their battle stations in the cartoon. There also could be a practical reason, that there won't be enough bulk leftover to make a decent robot mode.

MP combiners? Hell, they can't even make decent G1 homages for the Generations/United toy lines. Hell, WFC Bruticus only exists because it's tied to a new video game.

Yeah, Motormaster's feet would be made up of the cab and the rest of him is the trailer. I think it wouldn't be too hard for Takara-Tomy to make a MP Motormaster. The rest of the Stunticons are easy, more or less. They're all just sports/racing cars.

The difference between the First Edition Vehicon and the RiD Vehicon is about the only thing that makes sense to me, regarding this whole FE debacle. The FE is the first attempt at design and then RiD is the improved design. But that's only with the Vehicon. Everything else is the opposite.

It also doesn't help that the TFP Bumblebee that's clogging the pegs is such an awful toy.

Yeah, RtS Lugnut is a great toy. I love the way the wings turn into arms, a good example of how the larger size class can benefit a Transformer's design.

WFC Blast Off is fugly, regardless of color.

As someone who was weakening and coming around to TFP, not the cartoon, but the toys, Hasbro's botched First Editions really put me off the entire toy line.

My opinion of the movie aside, Transforers 3: Dark of the Moon is not the sort of movie to watch on a small screen.

I sometimes think that the Commander class toys are nice, but I'd rather keep my $10. I'd probably buy them if they were two dollars less.

3rd party toys are seem to be more reasonably priced by comparison. I get what I want out of a 3rd party toy, not something that's only vaguely appealing. WFC toy seem kind of nice, but they don't say, "MUST HAVE!" I've got a take it or leave it attitude toward them.

I'd pay $140 for an E-hobby reissue of G1 Artfire. I'd be hard pressed to pay even $40 for this one. They could have at least made a new ladder for this one instead of reusing the crane arm from Grapple.
