I can't support them at retail, no stores have them! It's early. I just found them yesterday, after finding nothing at Target last week.

It sure is convenient, but I already bought wave 1 from Target. It's not worth returning the toys either, since buying the case will save me a whopping $2.39. Besides, it's better to support these toys at retail, makes the stores think it's worthwhile to sell them.

I'll do what I did with Hercules and order a bunch of them together from robotkingdom.com.

Out of all the molds that Hasbro tried to make into Springer, I think this one is the best.

When the SDCC Bruticus has two components that are the color of poop, how can anyone complain about G2 colors?
-
You know, this was a pretty strange thread.

Very nice, but I hope those smokestacks make it past this stage and into TRU.

This SDCC Bruticus is over-rated. If Blast-Off and Vortex weren't colored so badly, I'd have tried to buy SDCC Bruticus. It's all so silly, though, ninety-nine dollars for five deluxe class toys? What's that? What about the special box? Well now, the FoC Bruticus in G2 colors is getting it's own special box as well, and that's going to be sixty dollars, only $11.99 per toy. The retail version isn't bad either, not as bad as people think. I mean, how can you complain about the colors on the retail version when SDCC Bruticus has two members that are colored like poop?

imho below: This would be awesome if it happened. Yes it would be awesome. Sure, Sixshot is a very cool toy, I have one, but it's not rare at all. It's obvious why Sixshot is getting such special treatment, with the chromed guns, metallic paint and fancy box, to generate interest that otherwise might not be there. Overlord on the other hand, sells for an average of about $720 complete, often with the box. The majority of Overlords, Japanese and European, that I see on ebay, have the box. Doesn't Takara-Tomy think that a reissue of Overlord would sell?

Thanks for telling us. That review helped me with a few things. 1) Blast-Off's robot mode is better than I thought it was. 2) Vortex's robot mode is better than I thought it was. 3) Vortex and Blast-Off both have colors that are hideous. 4) There's no need to bother with HasbroToyShop.com when Bruticus goes up for sale. For the record, I didn't mention this review to deter anyone from purchasing the SDCC set, just that everyone should be allowed to know what they are buying before throwing money at it. There's no need to explain yourself. That review is just a good way to get a good look at SDCC Bruticus. It's a well made review and we get to see the set in a way that is honest; that is, none of that Photoshop embellishing that Hasbro does with stock photos. Hasbro can keep their SDCC Bruticus, I'll stick with the retail and G2 versions of Bruticus.
