  1. Atrocious. Absolutely atrocious.
  2. I like them and I plan to collect as many characters as IGear will make. I wouldn't mind having Rage and Spray in the new, larger scale though. I also wish UFO was based on G1 Cosmos rather than, what was it, an unused design for Transformers Titanium series?
  3. I like my G1 Headmasters, but I guess it's also a bad concept, as far as the toys go. If you break or lose the Headmaster component, that's it, your Transformer is now useless.
  4. I think that's pretty much what it's supposed to be. It's called "cruiser mode" and from that I infer that it's a space cruiser. It's definitely not something that's meant to float in the ocean.
  5. I'm not even aguing the fact that G1 figures figures are no where near as "cool" as far as their poseability and advancement compared to today's figures....just showing my preference for G1 figures due to their simplistic transformations. Megatron looks funny compared to figures today, but he is perhaps one of my favorite G1 figures trigger crotch and all. Optimus looks so much better than any other Optimus (in my opinion). Yeah, his forearms are a bit long and his legs don't bend forward, but there is just something beautiful with the simplicity of that figure. Also, as I said, it is/was so easy to transform. I mean literally flip the head down, fold the arms in and bend the legs back and you're done. I hate how figures today have such ridiculously complicated transformations. I mean, for instance, I hardly even transformed my CHUG Tracks and Wheeljack because their transformations were annoying. I know it's due to the engineering in todays toy world, but less is more sometimes... Let's not forget the many occasions when Hasbro needs to be frugal with the plastic and we get CHUG figures with limbs that have hollow spaces on the back.
  6. The one thing I surely miss from the G1 toys are the guns. Today, everything has to fit somewhere onto/into the alt-mode, so that limits the design options. Combiners, official combiners anyway, are hurt by the modern way of design as well. Hasbro needs to learn that it's okay to have separate connectors and hands and feet for their combiners.
  7. I got mine today. It is awesome and turned Broadside from a zero into a hero. Like this, he could even give Sixshot a good fight.
  8. If you ordered from FansProjectCore, then it's likely that your order has been shipped. I sent them an e-mail complaining as to why the online stores got their Assaulters in stock, but I, who ordered directly from them as soon as Assaulter went for sale, had not gotten mine. Well, they explained that a lot orders have been shipped. I guess they can't be bothered to tell anyone.
  9. Aren't those just super-slick versions of costumes that fans have been making for years?
  10. I hope not - I really hope this doesnt start a trend of "accessories sold seperatly." Well those accessories, as with these, are exclusive to the MP Soundwave that's sold at the Japanese Amazon.com site. So there is no way we would get these anyway, aside from by from the secondary market, which would have a mark-up anyway.
  11. I wonder if those Energon cubes for MP Soundwave will be sold like this as well?
  12. Takara-Tomy, please, please reissue Overlord.

    1. Blitz-Wing

      Blitz-Wing

Don't think it will happen. I remember reading something about the dies being damaged beyond repair...

    2. Breaker

      Breaker

      Make a thread please

It's not a subject worthy of a thread, it's just an expression of frustration. Even the junkers on ebay cost a lot of money.

  13. While I could handle it, I can do without one more credit card charge in December. As for Fort Max, the delay will give me more time build up the "war chest" of money I use for such purchases.
  14. I guess it's not Project X's fault that the alt-mode looks like that, but I still think it's ugly.
  15. I bought Starscream today. It's a very good toy, although I don't know why the missile cluster had to be made out of soft plastic.
  16. I ordered one yesterday afternoon and it's just been shipped today.
  17. I ordered it off the website today. I had saved enough money for it anyway. Plus, it's not worth the trouble of going to TRU anymore. I went there today and they didn't have MP Optimus Prime.
  18. Wait a minute, this thing is a PCC. MakeToys has made an original core robot and have painted their new PCC missile truck black and orange.
  19. With the state Transformers is in now, I'm not talking financially, I can't think this is a bad idea. Not to mention the purgatory in which G.I. Joe is in.
  20. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't come with new Hi-Q.
  21. It happens, it's not a problem for me, though. The last few packages I received all had shipping labels like that.
  22. He was 5 or 6 years old during G2? Fuck, that makes me feel old. Still, it's good to see the set under real lighting conditions. I'm even more convinced that the G2 version is the right way to go with the FoC Combaticons.
  23. :wtf Actually, the carts are connected to each other. You put a quarter in the mechanism that holds the carts together and the releases teh chain. When you return the cart and reconnect it, you get your quarter back.
