  1. You know it's hot when the rub signs show the faction symbols all on their own.

  2. Yeah, RtS Lugnut is a great toy. I love the way the wings turn into arms, a good example of how the larger size class can benefit a Transformer's design.
  3. I bought, opened, transformed, and returned TFP Hot Shot. The alt-mode looks nice, but that robot mode is lousy. There's no way to lock the torso into place and the auto-transform gimmick prevents the head from being flush with the top of the torso.
  4. Oh G1 Bludgeon, why are you so ugly yet so expensive? (sigh)

Goes against everything you learned in a bar, doesn't it?

  5. Would it be unwise to bet on the chance that the TFCC store will have ANY Botcon 2012 toys after the convention is over?

I don't think they had too many. I was going to buy some Saturday but I think they were all already gone.

  6. Do you ever get a little paranoid when a person with an ebay store wins your ebay auctions?

  7. Between the keyword spamming, PVC figures, and now the BotCon toy, it's going to be a pain in the rear to search for G1 Overlord on ebay.

  8. If Hasbro had made TFC Hercules and charged $30 per Constructicon, I think people would still say that it costs too much.

  9. I saw last year's CostCo exclusive Supreme Class movie Bumblebee at Marshall's today. It's $34.99. They had one.

  10. The Starcats look like a combiner team from some other toy line, like the Brave Series of robot toys. The "Dinobots" still look like some sort of weird dollar store set.
  11. How about The DinoChange Combiner Force which forms the super-robot Combinosaur! That's what these feel like to me, some weird set of dinosaur transforming robots that are sold at Big Lots.
  12. Something about them just doesn't look right. They look like they belong to some other toy line, not Transformers, if that makes any sense. I also don't think much of Dinobots as a combiner team. I think it's one of the silliest idea that the fandom has ever latched onto.
  13. Anyone else think that the pictures of MP-10 are lousy at selling the toy? Nothing about it looks impressive. Are there secrets that we aren't supposed to know until it's release?

I am with you 100% - I cant see ANY reason this thing can be worth the price tag.

I'd rather spend that amount of money on the Optimus DMK model.

  14. The folks commenting over at the TFSource Facebook page must be the most blindly cheerful people on the face of the Earth. They like anything. LOL.

  16. Was there ever supposed to be Transformers United Windcharger? No online store that sells Japanese Transformers has a pre-order for one.

      Sparkless

nothing was ever announced abotu Windcharger coming out in Japan

  17. If there was an Encore Devastator or Reflector from Takara Tomy, I wish someone had told me. I don't think that anyone chooses a KO over an official version of the same toy. The KO is usually something that isn't available officially, something that is available officially but of lesser quality, or a partly or wholly original product based on an established brand.
  18. It turns out that there will not be a KO Fortress Maximus. KOToys posted this: The G1 KO Maker basically just lied again this year as he did last year. We at KOToys apologize for the amount of excitement he caused. We will only post in hand news from this Manufacturer from now one as he is not dependable and can be tricky again THERE WILL NOT BE A FORT MAX THIS YEAR, the RELEASES WILL BE ABOMINUS AND COMPUTRON Although WE want a FORT MAX, YOU WANT a FORT MAX - stick with us and u can get the three + in time again we apologize for his lack of understanding and empathy, we will only post in hand news regarding this manufacturer from now on.
  19. Maybe, but the usual thinking behind these KO prices is, "Hey, the original MISB costs a lot more." I doubt that the KO Fort Max will sell out.
  20. From the KOToys.com forum: YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED, WE ASKED, THEY LISTENED ! G1 KO Reissue FORT MAX Update « on: February 09, 2011, 02:43:33 AM » An update regarding G1 KO REissues Since everyone here asked for FORT MAX, we inquired and told them that people are really begging for FORT MAX. Well u ask, you shall receive. FORT MAX HAS BEEN MOVED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. He will be made FIRST Ahead of both ABOMINUS and COMPUTRON (actually i think both abominus and max were in the first stages) So, there will be all 3 versions of FORT MAX, the retail price will be around 300$ US. Both Abominus and Computron will now be delayed until AFTER FORT MAX. Stickers for all 3 have already been made. FORT MAX ETA - 6 months from Today - August, or before August. I will absolutely buy this. Then again, after reading the shipping cost, I might not.
