I've read that Masterminds Creations has their own comic writer, and that this homage of Predaking will have an "optional" 6th member (a sabertooth tiger). I have seen the comic writer and MMC's comic art. I gotta say, the art is fantastic so far. I'm really thinking about taking the plunge on this one.

^^^ seriously, WOW! Bravo indeed. Scalpers should publicly shamed and mocked for the remainder of all times. Scalpers are warts on the ass of this fandom. -
Transformers Masterpiece Thundercracker Figure On Sale at ToyRus.com

I could be overstating it, but screw it: If there was any question that the "enthusiast" transformers collector community is a viable target audience, Hasbro should consider this as a wake up call. -
I'm sure there's a use for this in someone's collection. I don't need it personally. 100 dollar repaints in general just don't cut it considering whats planned right around the corner. FansProject and MakeToys combiners to be specific. Besides, chrome grillz are so three years ago. Just ask the Ying Yang twins, Lil Jon, or even Ryan Lochte.

Takara Tomy Masterpiece MP-12 Lambor / Sideswipe In-Hand Images
Operation VaccuSuk replied to BaCon's topic in News
Either that guy has huge hands or that looks like a deluxe sized masterpiece. Puny even. -
50 dollar repaints in this economy. Bad track record with security breaches... plural. Snide attitude towards some customers. Operates out of a suburban house. I'm done with Botcon, worthless membership "perks", shoddy websites/online store/membership hub, and Fun Publications Inc. in general. Thanks, I guess.

The box art is pure win. Amazing new head sculpt. Display caliber inner tray. Just a joy that I was able to save up for this. Computron is just around the corner, and I cannot wait to see what these master toy makers have in store for their fans. T.F. Con is going to be so exciting (Fansprojects Menasor teaser and Fansproject Core website plans/exclusives will be of epic importance). Great time to be an enthusiast; really is the golden age.

Should BLAME come off Hasbro/Takara & on the Economy?
Operation VaccuSuk replied to Shadowpanther's topic in General
First and foremost, Bacon is the complete fuel resource in the history of forever. Stating that obvious fact, the rest is merely elementary. Hasbro is in the business of mass production of petroleum based goods. Petroleum based goods are more expensive to create. The market for these goods is not sustainable versus the cost for production. Their target demographic is 5 - 12. That window demographic's tendencies have changed in the past decade. They are growing up faster - losing interest quicker. They are bombarded by the next great thing sooner - sometimes by Hasbro's other products. Transformers, since 2007, is old again. Summation: It's nobody's fault. The brand was never marketed to pace itself into consistent sustainability. It was meant to cash in when it was a hot commodity. Which it did. It's a non movie year: the risk for larger figures was not worth the reward to the people in marketing. Right around the corner, there's a 4th live action movie. It'll make as much as any other summer blockbuster. Some loyalists will come back to their childhood yet again, because nothing else will be playing in the theaters that weekend. Until then, Prime will have it's young fans and a couple of old leftovers. Fall of Cybertron will have its fans. As a toy collector from the early 2000's I can say I'm really worn out. I was looking for an excuse to say my Hasbro collection is finished. I'm glad there's an economic down turn. I'm glad the figures are in the state they're obviously in. I'm glad I'm not the target demographic. I'm glad there's options out there that fit my spending habits. I'm relieved. Now I can finally fully enjoy what I've got instead of dreading the expenditures of the next wave of product. -
