Something to share with you all that I've been working on on-and-off for most of the year now. I liked Titans Return PMOP plenty as-is, very solid and fun figure. But there's room for improvement and I have the itch to tweak things. And so I've been customizing mine. There are two main things I've been doing: Repainting the trailer (which is pretty much done), and turning the cab into a poor man's PC-16 (which isn't, but it's getting closer).
Trailer progress:
Cab progress:
Future goals include:
* Rifles replicating the ones on LG-35 Super Ginrai or otherwise being Titans Return-style versions of the 1988 toy's rifles
* A new chest shield with a possibly-detachable faux-engine that can hold Prime Masters
* Godbomber compatibility because I'm crazy like that. -
Figured out where the button goes, still stuck on the LEDs

Answered the question about the arm mounts, but still need to know about the cockpit section
-
Not bad. What did you do for the cockpit?

Recently acquired a damaged, headless, and partly-disassembled Hunt for the Decepticons Leader-class Starscream. The breaks will be straightforward to fix. The head... It's either obtain a replacement or make one myself, no uncertainty there. But reassembling him... That's where the uncertainty comes in. There's four LEDs and a little button sticking out from him and I'm not sure of the correct way they go into the cockpit section (and if any of them are meant to be in the head):
I'm also not sure about the spots where his arm assemblies join the central body:
So I would very much appreciate some photos of how it's supposed to go together.

The plastic thing is just people being whining deluded kindergartners.
Voyager and Leader figures have largely seen some definite shrinkage since HFTD but it's been within tolerable levels and Deluxes have been more or less stable.

Something from my favourite series.

In robot mode they're leaned up against the legs like in that picture of Stepper. Like that, they make him look like he's got proper feet.
-
Sorry for the double post. There was an issue with attaching my pictures...
still messed up bro!
Steppin!
cool but the feet aren't down on the one in the bottom right corner..i think
They're supposed to be like that.

Yes. If you flip up the straps on the regular Super Mode backpack you can put the Sonic Wing one on top of it and still secure the chestplate.
-
Nah, best ever is with the "wear-both-backpacks-at-once" trick and two lion arms. No screwdriver required.

My Decepticon army:

Don't you just love these happy coincidences?
-
Well, if you're comparing her to pictures of G1 Arcee they do. They're a reasonable match for the Animated cartoon.

all i see is the red ranger's arm up?!?
True, but that picture gives a better look at the joints than the other one. Nearly 180 degrees back-and-forth movement at the hip, the knees bend 90 degrees, the elbows bend 90 degrees and rotate 360 degrees, the arms rotate 360 degrees and have close to 180 degrees outward movement. Not as good as a Figma but decent.
-
Actually they have pretty decent articulation. Check this out:
And here are the Autobot City boys transformed to robot mode:
Focus isn't very good on this one, this was the best I could get.
-
The Power Rangers and their Dinozords.
-
The unholy trinity and their dark master.
Seeing Prarcee reminds me, has there been any word on a Generations Arcee yet? (I swear, when I find whoever vetoed her original toy back in 1986 I will slit their throat).

Open him or return him.
Titanus the Carrierzord arrived Tuesday. And with that, I can finally make the original Ultrazord. The seller had to send the head separately and the hatch is missing, but I'm still drooling because the Ultrazord is awesome. If you can find Titanus for a semi-reasonable price, get him.
-
They're not all Transformers, but I have recently acquired some not so recent, figures. My favourites are the original Dinozords and the Dragonzord. Bricks, basically, but enjoyable. The Sabertooth Tiger has the best articulation of the bunch. The Megazord is awesome. And big. In scale with Supreme Starscream big. I'm still trying to gather the pieces, but they are awesome, and I have Titanus on the way.
I've also acquired Armada Unicron. Fairly nice figure, would love to get his brother some day. Mine's missing the wings and Dead End, though that's all he's missing. Armada Tidalwave, missing missiles. Cool. Nice and big, and bolsters my Decepticon ranks. RID Galvatron, missing one launcher/sword hilt and a foot. I love this guy. I also have Energon Ironhide. Decent, but not a keeper for me. He'll be up for sale soon.
The same box that held those four also contained most of RID Optimus Prime's trailer, some of RID Ultra Magnus' trailer, and a bunch of random Gundams that I'm still trying to ID and reassemble. Those will also be up for sale, save for a few chosen as parts-donors for kitbashes.

Hopefully we'll get it, and thus be RID of doubt. ;)

His vehicle mode is actually a hybridization of his original Porsche 935 Turbo mode and Movie Jazz's Pontiac Solstice mode. The front end is the original Porsche 935 front wearing the Pontiac Solstice's headlights for a hat, the rear is the Solstice's with the 935's back window.

Let's see...
G1 Springer: Shoulders are off, on the cartoon model the splashers become his shoulder pads, but oh well. The colour scheme is off, but that applies to every TFTM character but Wreck-Gar. Looks better without his detail stickers (same again). The tail rotor details could do with being painted. His arm movement's okay, not as good as Kup's, but better than Hot Rod's. He can do some slashes. The sword could be better, and would look nicer chromed, but it works. The vehicle modes are good, and are sufficiently different from each other when they are transformed correctly, something several people seem to be incapable of. 1. His wheels rotate in for the helicopter mode, bringing his folded arms out to be gun pods. 2. His splashers are on sliders, and they slide back for helicopter mode, middle for car mode, and all the way forward for robot mode. 3. In car mode, the engine section should be slid back. He has feet, they're where his back wheels are. Not the best but they look better than Blitzwing's. I would say get him. My specific Springer's not the best (loose joints, broken tail pegs, chrome wear), but I like him.
G1 Wheeljack: This guy looks alright. Arms can rotate at shoulder, he could be taller but oh well, and he's in scale with the original Optimus Prime. Get him, paint some eyes on.

Danielgogeta is mixing up the G1 and Titans Return Overlord toys. The G1 toy didn't use the rifle as the tank's barrel - or rather, didn't use the tank's barrel as a rifle - either. It's only the Titans Return/Legends toy that uses the tank's barrel as the robot mode rifle (while the proper rifle is completely absent), due to accessory limits.
