  1. Nice haul Blitz-wing! Too bad my TRU only has a wall of Tuner Mudflaps! :wat not to mention the mixmaster hoist 2 packs and piles of megatron fallen soundwave sets!
  2. a cup of coffee, 2 slices of pizza, some iced tea, and a pack of camels
  3. honestly that toy is probably the best in transforming toy history, its practically perfect. the recent yamato 1/60 scale are beautiful and accurate, but they don't quite have that intangible spark about them. RIP Takatoku! :notworthy also, i cant remember the name of that toyline with the chrome and clear plastic transforming dinosaur skeletons, but they were totally awesome. i always wanted that dragon guy you have, and around the time of the great Kay-Bee extinction they were all sitting on the shelves on clearance. kicking myself REALLY hard for passing them up.:doh
  4. both really good toys. i wish brakedown was a deluxe, but he is about the same size of his G1 toy
  5. I bet his mom looks at you weird. "Here comes that weirdo to bribe my child with toys and promises of repressed future memories." *glares* Heh, I bet the kid's mom is hot... :love Leige knows whats up. also, isn't a future memory one you haven't had yet?
  6. wtf is wrong with power ranger toys anyway? not to start an argument, but PR toys are every bit a transformer as hasbro stuff. heck, PCC cannot hold a flame to some of the awesome combinations and design themes integrated into some of the zords. and the whole "its a kids show" argument doesnt really hold water if youre a fan of the transformers franchise. anyway, i got me a third skystalker yesterday, LOVE that figure
  7. lol Maz and Optics, you guys must really like Rob Leifeld huh?
  8. Actually Astronopolis, I am 35 years old. So I have been around and will every once in awhile drink a beer or two. However, I just never understood the appeal people have with getting drunk every Friday/Saturday night to "socialize". In fact, I tend to LOL at all those people that pack themselves into crowded bars and clubs to have a "good time" and hopefully score with a chick/guy. I'd rather do more "enriching" things while hanging out with people like going to dinner and a movie afterwards or a picnic at a park or just hanging out at home with dinner and Wii time. That's just me though, I guess. hey ice, didnt mean to condescend. its easy to make an incorrect assumption of where someones age and experience lies when youre on an internet message board, but its not a good reason to be a dick about it. sorry! :) Leige, congrats on your latest acquisition! i had one of those as a kid, and literally loved it to peices. i think i still have one of its legs somewhere at my parents house. i used to pretend he was Skylinx's brother on a different planet fighting with Jayce against the Monsterminds
  9. got these yesterday, but i missed the mailman, so i had to pick them up from the post office today. Ive been waiting since the Classics line began to set these guys up together. Ironically, NONE of the items pictured are from Classics or Universe 2.0. Oh well. Now, on to completing the '86 Movie Autobot cast!
  10. nice haul, leige! icewolf, you might be too young right now, but when you grow up you will understand
  11. is a Smooth Criminal

  12. AP, if you dont know what you're talking about, your opinion is invalid.
  13. i like to imagine Transfan2 sitting at his mahogany desk chomping on a cigar and laughing maniacally while posting his toy hauls. also, he wears a monocle.
  14. got animated cybertron ratchet, no arcee yet. anybody see HA mudflap on shelves yet? anybody else think transfan2 swims around in his toys like Scrooge McDuck in a pile of money?
  15. it looks to me like Thunderwings inner robot, but i could be wrong. Anyone wanna confirm?

  18. this is a common problem with the Revoltech Valks, unfortunately the QC is a little spotty on them; it looks like you just got a bum one. About the loose revol-joints, you can tighten them temporarily if you squeeze them together at their axis (the circular disc covers on either side) and that should give enough grip to hold a pose, however i cant say for how long it will hold. about your yamato valk, is it one of the new 1/60 2.0s? those are just stunning! i have an old 1/60 VF-1A, and while its a good toy, it doesnt begin to hold a candle to the new ones!
  19. just got an oldie but a goodie, Universe Repugnus and Overbite 2-pack. i originally wanted it only for the repugnus for a classics monsterbot, but ended up liking Overbite alot more than anticipated. the transformations are simple and crude, especially overbites, he just splits open and his limbs spill out, then you attach his tail assembly to his arm stump. however simple it may be, it is a pretty graphic transformation, slitting a cyborg shark open to get at his innards. he reminds me alot of the sea themed monster pirates from pirates of the carribean in robot mode, his shark mode is covered in techno-bits and his bot mode looks like hes turning more machine (or animal?) and his body is mutating and contorting into a twisted monster. he has a large toothy evil grin, and his painted eyes stare into your soul. just creepy. all in all an excellent figure, provided you tighten up the joints with some glue. Repugnus is ok. he is cast in clear red and yellow plastic and bears a slight resemblance to his G1 monsterbot form in alt mode, but the similarities stop there. despite being a simpler basic sized offering, it is still somewhat confusing what you are supposed to do with some of his parts. his joints are a tad loose, but i dont want to ruin the clear look by possibly gunking up the joints with glue. an ok toy, but if you want this set for repugnus, youre going to be a tad dissapointed if you havent had the mold before. however, Overbite shines as the better of the two toys, and i would consider him a must buy if you like aquatic themed and creepy bots.
  20. that really is a beautiful toy. if i had a complete devy i would totally shell out for those. unfortunately as it stands i dont...
  21. i was pretty disappointed when i got mine, thought it was such a floppy fiddly peice of crap. appendage set fixed all that
  22. awesome Devy man, wish i had a Devastator and money for those parts! I found these Guitar Hero guitar double packs on clearance at Toys R Us for $4, their modular nature allows them to fit into standard 8mm (i think?) transformer fist holes. they even have little replica guitar stands for display! Im goin back today for more, theres a tiger striped Geetar ive got my eye on!
