There seems to be quite a bit of hate for this figure already. I guess because Junkyard supposedly shelf warmed, that means that people aren't going to want this one as well. Or something like that.

I just wish people would make up their minds. They either want all the G1 and then don't buy them or they want all the non-G1 and then don't buy. People paid crazy stupid prices for the previous deluxe Junkions. Sure one was an E-Hobby exclusive but the other two weren't. I just don't get it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I want him for sure. Love the Junkions. I think people just love to complain man. Just don't buy the figure if you don't want it. I am loving all the options they've been putting out.

I very much appreciate the attention paid to the deco. I don't often hate on Hasbro's decos but their Strongarm releases were always pretty trash. Strongarm figures were some of Takara's actual major wins over Hasbro in the deco department. Not every Takara deco was better like some people like to make out but I did get all the Takara Strongarm figures. Or rather, the legion, the Minicon battle pack and the warrior figures.

I managed to find the Takara warrior Strong Arm at a local comic shop in box for $15 about a year ago. The shell was super yellowed, thus the price. Like you said, the deco is soo much better than the Hasbro version. I really like this Legacy version though. The addition of a nose makes her feel more in-universe to the Legacy style.

  3. I actually don't mind this at all. I appreciate the real-world aspects of "the why" we only get a recolor, but I also really appreciate that they make the extra effort to give the figures a new head or accessories for the retool/recolors now.

With 2 figures from RID 2000, I wonder how possible it is that a new Optimus and Magnus are on the way, and what I most want, a new Build Team.

So Volcanicus and Dinoking will be around the sizes of TLK Infernocus and Power Core Combiners Grimstone. I actually like that very much. Being about the same size as Grimstone is really cool. Now I have to dig my Grimstone back out but luckily I still have time before we finish Volcanicus.

I really do hope that Hasbro does release Dinoking and not listen to some of the hate these figures are getting. It's not too bad but it's there.

I 100% agree. I am always taken a bit by surprise by the amount of hate that spews from some of the fans. It's like they have no ability to pick and choose if they actually want to spend the money on something or not.

I have really been loving the little dinobots despite their flaws.

And yes! I have my Grimstone  on display and can't wait to have 2 dinobot combiners.

    MAN.

Wish they could have nailed Rhinox like they did this guy.
But that is an extremely tough design to pull off in toy form.

Then again, I would have thought Inferno would be tough to do right, yet it seems like they've absolutely done him right.

Yeah, I honestly still prefer Generations T30 Rhinox. For what it is, the new one is fine, but still hoping for that definitive Rhinox someday.

Don't rule out these characters as already been done. Hasbro has said we may see characters reappear in up and down scaled versions, Kind of a missed opportunity was to add a shell or something for the larger scale figures. Maybe they still can in Selects.

That's completely fair. I didn't think we'd see this superior SS86 Ironhide so soon after the Earthrise remold, but I'm SO happy we are. Plus SS86 is getting both the Core and Voyager mold of Ironhide/Ratchet.

    I'm happy with more options.

Yeah, the vote for shells did show that people want shells back. I'm up for it.

  7. I'm a little bummed Bomb-Burst is a core class, while Skullgrin is a deluxe. I always associate them with Submarauder since they were the trio from Masterforce (Blood, Dauros, and Gilmer.) Back in the days of bootleg anime vhs, I was a huge fan of Masterforce and loved these guys.

Looks great regardless and will be glad to have him in the collection.
