  1. everything is going according to plan then
  2. ^ gotta agree with that thought. probably going to be another 2 years, or let's see what the leader class version can offer us
  3. not a necessary mod? but how could you do the "bring it on!!" pose with outh it? oh, yet another fabulously flawed piece on screamer. I removed the paint on his eyes to regain the light piping. to put it simply, it doesn't work. technically, it does pipe light, but his eyes only glow if you look at his face from the side. guess hasbro realized this and that's why his eyes are painted over. as much as I enjoy this voyager, I can't help but keep thinking :doh
  4. i've been looking for voyager megs around here for a week now at about 9 different stores :emo I have a feeling we're going to be seeing A LOT of the same toys for a few months. CURSE YOU WAVE 1!! settled for ransack, but he makes up the lack of megs
  5. or you could do what I did, buy a new set of figures at TRU, and return them to the store you bought your originals from a week ago :tfevil
  6. I doubt it would work. his hand is mostly a hollow shell and there's not enough plastic to work with in my opinion. I'd say buy him yourself and make a judgment. worst case, you're just stuck with a shiny, new, starscream
  7. so I guess the race is on to have the superion add on kit shipped first? I can't wait to make his combined mode look much better than the crap it is now.
  8. ^ I agree on the fragile wings. I was thinking that hasbro should've put a swivel or something on them so they can move around more and prevent a break. so, guess this is turning into the "ROTF starscream engineering flaws venting thread"?
  9. I'd say don't bother. It seemed like too much trouble for me, therefore I didn't :) If it can be done with less effort with the same results, why not? I'm no engineer, but isn't that the point of engineering?
  10. That's the first thing I did to him. A little involved, I hate pulling pinned joints, but very much worth it. I actually did it with the arm still assembled. I just took out the screw, super glued the 2 halves, and shaved down the chunk the screw was in and about half of the back of the elbow. No effort required at all So I guess I'd say for me, it was even more worth it :tfevil You should post a tutorial for the rest of us. just posted it in this thread: Starscream's elbow fix
  11. So here are the pics. I did this with out disassembling the arm and wasn't a problem for me. I'm not even sure if the arm can be pulled completely apart anyways. First, pop the upper arm off from the upper arm. Remove the screw that's just below the elbow. To make up for the now missing screw, pry the arm apart just enough to allow a small amount of super glue to seep into the seem between the two halves of his arm. ^Shave down the entire chunk of plastic where the screw was in. ^The corner on his elbow also needs to be shaven down. The round part of his joint may also need a bit of work, but this is the gist of it. There's not much use for shaving much more plastic on either his elbow or forearm, as the shape of his upper arm doesn't allow for the full 90* bend I was hoping for. This is very simple to do with just an exacto knife, and well worth the minimal amount of effort. As of now, Starscream's elbows are still plenty strong, with no signs of stress at all

  13. see hasbro, he looks much better with actual elbows!
  14. The chest was pissing me off, I didn't want to break the damn thing by forcing it out. They should've just made a slot at the top of the groove so it can easily come out. It's probably just mine, but the bottom of Prime's right foot (the flap that makes the grill), is it loose for anybody else? I agree completely with the chest....scared the crap out of me when I finally got the first chest panel off. The grill piece isn't loose for me, but snapping the entire front truck assembly (arms and feet) is the biggest pain the ass for me. Took me a good 20 min. to get it all lined up and together
  15. Got ROTF voyager starscream last night, and leader OP this morning. OP's transformation makes me want to :9000
  16. I wanted to wait for a repaint, I don't like the tat's that much. But he looked so sad and lonely on the shelf..... appealing to the fans, you're doing it wrong
  17. So hasbro's brilliant ideas of master engineering strike again on ROTF Starscream. He has elbows that bend wonderfully.....in the wrong direction. After finding him today, I've decided to make my own attempt at getting his arms to bend in the proper direction. As of now, I've managed to shave off a screw hole and have a good 45* bend to show for it. I'm hoping to keep whittling away with my exacto knife and obtain a full 90* backwards and FORWARDS, like he should've had in the first place. Any one else try such a thing yet? BTW, his elbow is missing half its original plastic, but I don't see any stress or signs that it is too weak now. So, as of now, there seems to be no negatives of shaving all this off
  18. why would anyone on this site post pictures of toys frozen with embarrassment for playing with toys? :tfevil
  19. There is something about this image that's cuter than it should be. :schin breakaway looks very depressed playing with his toys....and i'm picturing starscream mocking him "look at me, i'm so sad wah wah wah" :tfevil
  20. is that with or without shipping? I got knockout, dirt boss, dead end, depthcharge, rampage, and roll bar for a total $9.99 plus shipping :tfevil gotta love dem factory workers, but gotta hate the time for it to get here with shipping Also These soon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170332457758 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170331614717 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=160333728700 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170331122386 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...alenotsupported nice, I too got some more ebay goodies today in the mail as a lot: Beastwars TM2 prowl RID Scavenger, of all things, but he's very nifty Beastwars Rampage (missing his gun :roll) TM2 Megatron (shattered knee that I spent most of today fixing, again :roll) and a purple dinozaur....really? but eh, it was cheap, and I got a rampage a TM2 megatron out of it

  22. well I have to say, his prices and his obvious poor descriptions are enough of a deterrent. thanks for the PSA anyways
  23. well, i guess the only explanation is that transfan2 is actually animated swindle with his drawer to his private storage dimension :tflaugh
