skids and mudflap are not legends I would rank higher than their deluxe versions (then again, I can't think of a legends figure I would prefer over the larger version). What is the major complaint with skids anyways? He has that rather enjoyable 'herpa derpa' talking gimmick and his extending hand is easily modded into a very entertaining firing fist of fury.

COD: MW 2
I've had it in my possession for more than 12 hours and still haven't had a chance to play it. WTF?
-
Started to mess around with HA BB again... just to kill some time before MW2 comes out tonight. Did some more modifications like having the wheels go inside his torso instead of sticking out and having his chest piece be more angled.
how'd you go about the wheel thing? did you just remove the grey pieces inside of his chest?

I recently got a raise and I'm considering buying a nice haul for those boxes. I get the satisfaction of being charitable AND the satisfaction of buying a crap load of toys(regardless that they won't be mine)...sounds like a win win to me :P
-
-myself, I'm still getting figures, but starting November first of every year, I stock pile and open nothing till December 25th-
That sounds incredible

Tried to find a copy of adobe Illustrator, wasted 3 hours on that :argh
went to target and got myself snake eyes with his arashikage cycle. I also felt like doing my part and buying a very dusty wheelie. That figure is warming the shelves so much that I fear spontaneous combustion.

Not a brand new purchase, but this has been on my mind since I got ROTF long haul: He's not as awesome as everyone thinks, or wants, him to be.
I loved the original concept design of him. It was a bulky, menacing robot that really gave me the feeling of a lumbering, powerful dump truck. I was very disappointed in the first images and reviews of this guy because his build is just too athletic. I didn't really want him.
I was at target last week, and got him on impulse for $15 because he actually looked quite good in person. I really do like the details on him; the head is fantastic, there is molded detail all around that doesn't just look like random shapes, and I really think hasbro did a great job on including the working piston elbows(in a voyager none the less!). The mediocrity soon set in when I tried playing and fiddling around with him. His parts keep un-tabbing, his axes are lame, the axle over his head is annoying and looks out of place, and he only looks good standing normally(wrist swivels would've helped a lot).
While he does look impressive, he's ultimately as exciting as his bio. :bored

long haul at target....damn sale :argh

not very action-y, but still some good TF fun with Ruination and the Bruticus KO:
Mini-cus' fists and head fit almost too well on brawl
Considering he's at most half-sized, and used, Mini-cus isn't too bad for a KO, though not nearly as good as the larger mini-devastator I have
-
liege, I would love to see more pics of your collection
-
got myself a MOC RID ruination :D only thing better than the condition is the price
my question is do I keep the packaging, or throw it out like I normally would? any suggestions?
-
got leader jetfire for $25.88. figured I wasn't going to pay any less than that for him :tfevil

I don't think you would want the chrome version. One of the chrome legs on my lions broke off. I didn't force it or anything. I blame the chrome. I'm gonna need to buy the plastic version sometime.
I'm gonna try and be careful with mine now, just in case. I just wish the silver paint was, well, more silvery
-
bit of an old haul, but the plastic version of Masterpiece Voltron. Form blazing sword indeed! very beautiful figure, only complaint is that it doesn't have the chrome parts that the die-cast version does
...and two boxes of honey nut cheerios :D

crappy week at work inspired me to buy toys. I got myself some GI joe's and the surprisingly nifty optimus gravity bot, who was on sale. After dealing with the over complicated movie transformations for a few months now, it's very satisfying to transform a figure with so little effort. Kinda pricey normally, but I'd recommend getting at least 1 gravity bot for the hell of it

was there ever a megas xlr figure?
-
After a huge argument with Mudflap, Skids has decided to find a new combination partner...with some mixed results....
Well that's just Prime! :tflaugh
very nifty, but I'm not sure if this is the optimal combination :P

I already got Sideswipe, so I'm gonna wait for a sale. The alt was just to red for me.
I would have to agree that swerve is too red looking. That's why I got another sideswipe and made him red. And what a drool worthy red it is :drool (kinda hate myself for not having the pics done yet)
Actual haul:some clearance animated figures. finally got me swindle and had no problem paying a deluxe price for the 'deluxe' size bulkhead
-
most expensive haul on here :tflaugh
-
Damn I still look good

Had myself a good day. Got a chance to reassemble my custom G1 ROTF sideswipe, just got some touching up to do. Found a Dune Runner and finally jumped on the HA bumblebee bandwagon. He is much more impressive than I first thought, but still has his quirks that I want to work out. I already tore his head apart to repaint his bug eyes, but I can't seem to get his chest fixed.
Anyone out there have a good mod for those damn spring loaded chest pieces?
Also, while I was at walmart, I happen to notice 2 of the target exclusive animated sunstorms and shockwaves sitting on the shelves with a price of $26. When did the 'target exclusive' go away?

:lol

^ never ever saw a single roadbuster ultra magnus, but countless shadow blade megatrons. WTF O.o

Went to my local wally world, ended up getting a charitable haul because of some leftover sale prices ($5 GI Joes!)
It was a lot of fun buying toys with a cart for once and being proud of it :P Hope the tots out there enjoy their toys
Also got a hot wheels delorean that I'm hoping to customize into the back to the future time machine and install a functioning usb drive.
