  1. I just got the Optimus Prime with "TargetMaster" Roller the other day. Fun little bot but kind of a weird Optimus design. Funny thing is, I noticed really bad paint apps on the first one I grabbed off the peg. Ended up having to pick the "best" of the five on the pegs by laying them all out in a line. Even the one I ended up with had some paint issues. Nothing major, but far from perfect. Even Roller doesnt really extend properly to form his weapon mode. He looks kind of crooked. Still, really fun to have a small transformable Roller.

I cant wait to find the Starscream with Waspinator. I could care less about the BB and Megs from that line though.

  2. Picked up both the voyager and legends (cyberverse or whatever they call it now) Optimus Primes. Like them both, especially the wings on the voyager. They might not be the best Optimus Primes released recently, but they were fun enough for me. As I have said before its hard for me to pass up on any Optimus, so I am definitely bias towards any Optimus toy. These two look great on the shelf.

  3. My toys r us masterpiece prime arrived yesterday. Boy, is he a great figure

I can see why so many people are calling him the definitive G1 optimus. Haven't got around to messing around with Spike or the trailer yet. But all I can say is I love this Prime :win

I just got around to "playing" with mine last night too. I have no real complaints with him, but I still prefer MP1.

  4. Just got my MP-12 in today! LOVE!!!! THIS!!!! FIGURE!!!! Yes, he's smaller than previous MP's standing at a solid Voyager size, however he's just sooooo pretty, lol. Partner him up with PP05 and we've got an ass kicking pair of Autobots that are ready to roll! Can't wait for Soundwave and Red Alert (based on more recent photo's it appears Red Alert has more retooled parts on him that a simple Lightbar addition to better match Red Alert's animated character model, which was visually distinctive from Sideswipe in many ways) his guns are gorgeous, and everything about him feels solid, transformation is fun and not too difficult so don't worry about him suffering from an overly convoluted (and in some past cases scary because of the threat of breaking an integral piece of the figure) transformation. Sideswipe is a Prime example of Takara's new vision in the MP line: Make Kickass renditions of our favorite classic characters while staying true to both the toys and media that fans were introduced to, Sideswipe gets that message across and then some.

I am soo glad to hear that. Mine is on the UPS truck out for delivery and I (havent been able to watch any video reviews) have been really worried that I was going to be disappointed when I open him up.
