  1. '07 Movie Longarm - He's the tow truck from the first movie toy line, based off of the tow truck Mikaela used to tow Bumblebee around in the battle of Mission City and the drone type of the same name from Transformers: The Game. The vehicle mode is quite solid, although I don't care for how the lightbar is just floating there behind the cab. He can tow most Deluxe carformers if there's enough room under their bumper for the hook to hang onto, which is a nice feature. Amusingly, the missile launcher can be triggered in this mode. The robot mode has one heck of a BFG! It's screwed into his right hand, which is odd. Overall, I would have liked to have gotten the Hoist repaint, this was much cheaper and didn't come with a Mixmaster I had no interest in.
  2. HA Skids = awesome! The Mikaela and 'Arcee' that come with him... not so much.
  3. ROTF Deluxe Dead End - much more interesting than Sideways.
  4. 'Universe Getaway' (Wal-Mart exclusive Breakaway) - A decent repaint of Cybertron Hot Shot. The vehicle mode is nice, the key gimmick isn't worth mentioning but at least is out of the way. The robot mode is neat. Worth it if you don't have a version of this mold already, but is nothing special otherwise. TRU exclusive Universe Countdown - A repaint of Cybertron Defense Red Alert. The vehicle mode is very bulky, and armed with a huge ICBM that is removable. The robot mode is bulky and squat for an Ultra class figure. The key opens the rocket to allow it to fire a missile, and/or unlocks an attachment arm. You can attach a claw or a hammer to the end. Worthwhile if you can find. Henkei! Ramjet - A very nice update to the G1 Conehead. The tails and cockpit are chromed, and look nice! As a side effect of the different transformation from the original mold, his face is clearly visible from below in vehicle mode. Henkei! Smokescreen - MUCH better than the Universe version of Smokescreen, IMO. Henkei! Hot Shot with Jolt - Jolt is almost as much of a waste of plastic as Tidal Wave's Mini-Con, Ramjet. Hot Shot really benefited from the Universe/Classics update! The guns can either be held in his hands or plugged into his forearms.
  5. I meant how well the combined mode holds together, not how well it stands up. Although I have fewer balancing issues when Swindle's weapon is attached so that the outer guns face forward... :shrug
  6. ROTF/Universe Bruticus Maximus (or just Bruticus) Bruticus here is a repaint of the Energon Bruticus Maximus. Anyway, this time around the set is done in much more subdued colors, which is nice. Even though there's only three individual molds in the set, (Onslaught, Brawl/Blast Off, Vortex/Swindle) Hasbro at least helped make each one feel unique through the paint layouts and different 'signatures'. (for example, Swindle's '$') Each of them are very nice on their own, and not too difficult to transform. Now, whereas Superion is a bit weak and unstable when combined, Bruticus is very sturdy and secure. The energon weapons work nicely enough as either 'hands' or 'feet'. 8/10
  7. I've a funny feeling he's got two more sets of those Constructicons to go, then four of the Hasbro market's giftsets... :eek Anyway, yesterday's haul: ROTF Soundwave and Demolishor.
  8. Superion and Scout Dead End/Detour yesterday, and ROTF Mixmaster today.
  9. Revenge has come... ROTF Sideswipe, Rampage, and Starscream!
  10. Henkei! Astrotrain and Hot Rodimus, and Pokemon Platinum Version.
  11. Marvel Crossovers Human Torch, Universe Legends Cosmos, Warpath, and Wheelie.
  12. I know a bit about him, but I doubt this place is friendly enough to reveal it.
