Hope to find him here soon. My only beef with the figure is that they didn't add in arm communicators.....I just don't get why they didn't do that for this figure....I know it's a little thing, but I think it really is a nice touch....maybe I'm alone on that.....:D

So far TRU is being a pain! I really hope I can scrounge this up with using eBay. All the ones I've checked with are sold out minutes within opening or won't hold them. One held it, but wouldn't ship it, they'd only do in store pickup within an hour ... I'm already so sick of TRU over this guy, I wanna cry haha ... On topic though, he looks amazing and if I can get him, it'll (probably) be worth the effort.
If it's a phone order they have to ship it, but you do have to go into another Toys R Us to verify address and pay, they won't take credit card numbers over the phone.
Yeah I know, they won't even hold the item so I can get to a store though. And the ones that are willing to hold it, will only do so for an hour and when I ask about the shipping, they say no, it has to be picked up in person, they can't ship "exclusives". I've spent 3 days on the phone haha, probably doing the same tomorrow. Luckily the manager Of one of the stores here confirmed that if I can get them to hold it, & agree to ship it, he'd do his part on this end.

I was wrong, G1 colors don't make movie Starscream look better.
Also, didn't Hasbro release a similar Megatron, or was it a different leader class movie Megatron?
They released one similar, it was Shadow Command Megatron, and he was black with red ... This looks more like Dark Energon purple. Minor difference I know, but from what I can see so far, it makes a world of difference.

No, that was the bizare dinosaur head that you can equip to your created character, but it won't allow him to transform into a Triceratops, just have a Triceratops head in robot mode
Yup, I've got it on Jazz's alt mode for the time being ... Looks hilarious, I love it!
I can't wait for these guys! Plus it'll be really interesting to see how they balanced everything, because, for instance, if Grimlock plays as he did in the campaign, he'll get eaten alive by the speed of multiplayer. But if they made his alt as fast as the other titans, it's going to be funny watching a giant space T-Tex running as fast as a truck!

Haha yeah that's what I was thinking too ... vehicle mode is nice though, but dear god that white and red really brings out just how hideous movie Starscream is!
That Megatron looks like it would have potential though.

All the Targets and Wal-Marts here have started restocking the Prime line. Actually just picked up Airrachnid last week (yes she sucks, but I still wanted her for my show shelf haha). TRU is still a scalping nightmare thanks to the elusive Thundercracker MP that we can't find, but the other stores are splitting shelf space with Prime and FOC. Hopefully voyagers aren't far behind because Starscream was the last one I was able to get, and that was months ago, but the stores have been empty on those for a while too. As for the tags, all the tags say are "Transformers Deluxe", there's no actually line name in there, and they're being mixed accordingly.

Lol I'll tell ya right now, if they release him in red & black too, the blue one is getting the new head! I'm sure I can find a use for the blue version head somewhere ... Maybe throw it on a Bumblebee haha

Picked up the deluxes, debating on the voyagers ... Prime is pretty blah, but I really like Megs colors, even though the mold is kinda weak. My regular one feels really cheap with thin plastic. I may think about it though, we'll see.

Ok, WereFox, I absolutely agree with you. These characters are more than a simple car or truck, they are characters that we love and know inside and out. However, if you can't laugh and joke about something you love, you're taking it far too serious and have lost grasp with reality. These are toys, and meant for kids. Yes, as adults we love them, enjoy talking about them, and even playing with the toys ... It helps many of us relive simpler times in life. But many of us also know there is a difference between fiction and reality. These are NOT real life beings. Honestly, so far it seems like you're the one getting upset and trying to troll and throw the insults, the rest of us are enjoying the conversation and laughing with it all ... Try not to take things SO seriously :)
As for the "real fan" debate, Hellsscream, you nailed it man! We all enjoy this HOBBY in our way, and as long as someone enjoys what is presented, no one should be called a non fan. I don't care if you've seen 1 episode of Prime, and know nothing about anyone ... If you like it, you're a fan, period. That's what defines a fan, enjoyment. Not knowledge, not the type of enjoyment or the "seriousness" of it ... The fun, plain and simple.
Now, if y'all will excuse me, I'm going to step off my soap box, grab a banana, fling some poo and go play some FOC lol.

I like and don't like Shockwave's new look for Prime, hate the head, but the body is just unmistably Shockwave and pure awesome, hope he escapes from his spacebridge limbo prison to be in more eps! Would it have killed Corey Burton to voice Shockwave in Prime? No offense to David Sobolov but it's just not Shockwave without Corey Burton (or Steve Blum who was just plain AWESOME as Shockwave in FOC, however since he's voicing Starscream in Prime the voices would be way too similar)
Yeah, I can look past the minor head issues, especially when I see that arm cannon of his! *nerdgasm* plus he said logical! I damn near sqealed lol (I really need to seek professional help some day)

Since the Hub decided to play the retarded promo for the HuBoom block instead of scenes for next weeks ep, anyone care to share who the new autobot is? I heard rumors it might be Smokescreen
They didn't say, and the only new clip of him in the ad was him back flipping away from gun fire. My bets are still on Smokescreen just because of the previous "season preview" we saw, there's a good shot of his car mode with some key features that stood out.

^ This! Anything is possible in Fan-fiction, but I just don't see it happening in the show, at least not out right obvious. G1 hinted at something along those lines, but it was never obvious, nor should it be. They've done a good job with avoiding the love stories and relationship issues for nearly 30 years, let's keep it that way. The only thing that would make a kids show more awkward would be this: Reader beware, this is just weird!!! lol

Lol please don't give Bay any ideas! And yeah, like I said, reader beware ... I just felt wrong when I read that! No matter how bad I wanted to stop reading it, I just had to keep going to see how bad it REALLY got (although the side commentary is pretty amusing at least) ... I still feel dirty about it haha.
And as for the adult jokes with Mrs. Darby and such, it's called innuendo ... They never show her holding hands, kissing, or stripping down for Prime. Innuendo is one thing, but Jack being overhauled for the purposes that Hellscream so delicately put, would never fly. Especially on a primarily kids show, on a family/kids network produced & owned by a company who makes toys FOR KIDS ... I'm sensing a pattern here lol.

I see Arcee more as a second mother to Jack. Yes they're close, but I've never felt as if it were romantic. Although I can absolutely see where the idea has merit. With this series, anything is possible. Especially with some of the descriptions of upcoming episodes, & clips we've seen, I'm really getting a Headmaster feel being possible.

I hate to throw more wood on the fire, but just to save people more aggravation later on, during my personal nationwide hunt for a TRU with Thundercracker instock I did call TRU corporate and TRU online, I received definitive confirmation that this was a store exclusive and will never be made available on the website. All warehouses have whatever stock they have and once that's sold through then it's all gone. Good news though if you're worried about shipping, most TRU's will offer free shipping on phone orders (at least all the ones I've talked to) Thundercracker is being shipped to my doorstep at the same cost of buying in the store, no additional fee's, and this is from California to Michigan.

Ouch!!! That sucks royally, I feel like I've just been kicked in the nuts :( Thanks for the heads up ... Maybe eBay will end up with my business afterall, crap! I'm really hoping I can get lucky this weekend on the phone. Not cool TRU ... Not cool :(

Your best bet is to try calling any TRU's that you know do get them whenever they get their truck to see if they have any in stock, I've never had a problem with TRU's holding anything for me until the end of the day, the only TRU close to me I was told by the manager simply elects to never receive the high end exclusives (anything over $50) so that really left me no choice but to start calling across the country. If whoever runs your TRU is a total cockbite then yeah I'd just recommend going the route I did to secure mine, it's a huge pain in the ass, but a lot cheaper than ebay.
Yeah ebay prices are fucking nuts! I've got 3 TRUs in town, 1 didn't get any in today, 1 was sold out by the time They answered the phone, and the 3rd admitted he sold off 2 cases to 1 dude as soon as the doors opened (and I had called all 3 within 10 minutes of opening). On all the pervious MP's each store only got one shipment ... Really hoping they do more this time around, otherwise looks like my best bet is tracking them down like you did. Looks like I'm on the phone a LOT this weekend haha. God, I really hate TRU!
Seriously the manager sold 2 cases all of the figures to one person...what a douchebag....I feel bad wanting to buy 2 of them....i hope that all the people who did that wind up sitting on them all....some good news...the TRU I talked to said they got 2500 in their warehouse and that is in Southern California. I haven't seen it show up online, which honestly I would rather do since they have free shipping and I could probably order more than one....Hope to find them tomorrow....but apparently there are a lot of people who want this figure and others who want it because others want it.....:tfevil
Lol yeah tell me about it! I'm really hoping I can snag 2 online or find some in stores. If I happen to find any extras I'll let everyone here know and sell them off at cost+shipping, nothing more just to help out someone avoid the scalpers! I was pissed when the manager told me that, but his excuse was "first come first serve" and that they're not supposed to limit the quanties people buy once doors open, which freaking blows! And to make matters worse, rumors are starting to circulate that this is being considered "non replenishable stock" so once a store sells out, that's it. Not sure how true it is, but given my past difficulties with Roddy & Grimlock, I'm nervous now.

I think the "Brawn using Bulkhead mold" is going to be under the Generations line, so in theory that still leaves it open to use in Prime eventually. Although with Ironhide & Kup sharing the mold already, I'm not sure they'd throw a third name on the mold, especially since none of them are in show (at least yet).

He was online, I guess it was put up about 3am pst ... and sold out in under a half hour from what I heard. I missed out (again) but was able to get my info put in for the "notify if he becomes available" so we'll see what happens. And I guess some people who DID get orders in, are having their orders listed as "back orders" now so who the hell knows what's going on with this ... all I know is TRU is seriously starting to piss me off with their handling of this guy.
