  1. YEP! I generally don't think of 'Kre-O' when pondering upon Transformers' 30th Anniversary...this guy has raised the bar on those exceptions and expectations. Good show! :thumb
  2. Unicron Head Playset! Now, where was that in '86? Guess the same place as the actual figure. :doh
  3. A premonition of the new movie? Need at least deluxe size...and it might be the most interesting thing I've seen from movie-verse as of late. :doh
  4. Would rather see color schemes (and design) switched from mini to deluxe figure...call me old fashion. :shrug
  5. Would rather see color schemes (and design) switched from mini to deluxe figure...call me old fashion. :shrug
  6. Eh, that will unfortunately be filed under my 'not what people really want' category. :shrug Now with the new F-22 Ultra Magnus coming out overseas (and hope of Hasbro snagging it here), as well as a Rodimus figure already released, you'd think there'd be plans for some MP love on the Cons side (Galvy, Cyclonus and Scourge). Maybe their waiting on the 30 anniversary of the Movie? At any rate, I'm still not seeing, or feeling, what I want for what should be a fairly substantial celebration. We have to resort to the pricier third party route to get that...and my household budget just can't keep up!
  7. These guys are shaping up magnificently...wish they were more affordable! :doh
  8. Isn't that the old Bay-Prime transformation? Man...I miss the Prime Beast Hunters site. :shrug
  9. Hasn't there been mention of MP Sunstorm coming to US shores? And I see there's no 'UK' designation following his name in the screen grabs.
  10. He's massive! Hope they've been able to better incorporate the trailer and cab transformation, rather than just an armor-clad Prime.
  11. And after! Just the way I wanted to celebrate 30 years...NOT! :doh
  12. I've seen a few...but seems to me, if it's such a BIG anniversary, most of what's being produced should be HIGHLY desirable. Seems like a very unfocused release of figures. Likewise, seems like the enthusiasm's not there from retailers either (and to a degree, buyers). You know, 30 years later...it might be time to fire up the die casts again and return to some old school ideas. :shrug
  13. So, I took my son to TRU this evening (his $5 was burning a hole in his pocket for a pack of Pokemon cards!), and while there I had to peruse by the Transformers aisle. Pathetic. Here we are in the 30TH ANNIVERSARY of Transformers, and what's on the shelf? A big hunkin' piece of plastic Starscream in a giant box for $99! Kre-O garbage hanging above it and a few left over TF:Prime figs. Now, I can't just blame TRU...I'm seeing the same pattern at Wally World and Target. So, WTH, Hasbro? It's just about Bayverse now? I know there's more scheduled, but honestly, there's little coming down the pike that I've been impressed with. No wonder I find myself more intrigued with third party offerings these days...and no wonder why they're coming out of the woodworks. Yet, most of the time, I'm unable to afford them (I get it, costs more for smaller guys to produce...but still). It's just all really frustrating to see Transformers' 30TH ANNIVERSARY here and not much to celebrate in the realm of Hasbro's offerings. Thoughts? :shrug
  14. I'm still here as well, brethren. Life, and the older we get, makes it a little more sporadic these days. Can't argue about Bayverse and that travesty, but Hasbro's made its own bed as well. Actually, let me save that rant for a different thread. There are still collectors among us. Keep the faith! ;)
  15. MP Cyclonus & Scourge?! :drool Of course, we'd need a Galvatron in there too, though.
  16. Good luck! I've thinned out the heard so much over this past year, I don't know if there are any 'nonessentials' left! Starting to build the piggy bank back up for some of the lower priced sweet treats heading our way...some Unique Toy goodies come to mind, as well as a few official Hasbro releases. :thumb
  17. My wallet stopped talking to me! :P
