it may have somethign to do with the way his legs are folded up underneath, i had the same problems. whipped out longhaul and compared and fixed.......
the right guard is longer than the left. when i transform it, the tabs on the bed doesnt match up to the holds on the guard/truck sides. the longer guard hinges on the right goes yellow, black, yellow, black. the other shorter guard goes black, yellow, black, yellow. i need long guard to match the shorter one.

can someone tell me how to fix my payload? the blade guards are uneven, and he wont transform. :( .....is there a way to remove the pins that hold the hinges together?

Nah it doesn't transform. I should have a thread of him on the Workbench section under Customs.
Recently, this guy made his own custom HA BB. Same dude I based my Power Up Prime off of. Its more accurate:
I have a couple of FFVII figure's from Advent children. They're great figures. Still wish I'd got Cloud in his original FFVII costume. never appeared over here in any comic stores though :emo

Well imageanime has them in stock online, but Cloud comes with the bike and comes out to $70. Red is at $35.

Cool pics Ersico! Did you know that the fog light sections on HA Jazz's chest can rotate a bit? Kind of like HA Barricade's bumper. Most people don't seem to either know or want to do that part. I think it rounds his chest out a little more and makes him even more movie accurate.
