I picked up Walmart Universe Red Powerglide a couple days ago for $15. It looks better out of the package than the box photos suggest. The colors do make the mold actually look like Powerglide, unlike the general release. I think the shoulders might peg together a little better too. His shoulders are more stable than the first one, but still not quite enough improvement in my book. If anyone has a suggestion for this, I'm all ears. I still find the mold rather lacking, mostly because of the shoulders, but giving PG his proper colors and the price I paid make this version much more palatable than the original release.

:wat Are the Ravages relieving themselves on Soundwave?!? Did he forget to empty the litter box again? :lol

Finally picked up Deep Desert Devestator (Brawl), and for $10 he ain't bad. Now I just need to have Legends Jazz hanging off him to recreate that scene from TF 1

I ordered white Leo Prime off the Target website. I loved the first Leo Prime, so a rerelease of the figure in Lioconvoyish colors was a must-buy. It's not perfect, the flaws inherent to the Leobreaker mold remain. He does have funky arms, but they manage to look powerful. To me it's cool because it's a more stable, and therefore play-friendly version of Lioconvoy. Adding back the electronics would have been nice, but I can live without him being able to roar. A lot of people were thrilled at Walmart red Powerglide - I'm thrilled with this guy. 7/10

Let's see . . . Legends Starscream, just so I'd have him in that scale. I already had the Night Strike version, but let's face it, that's Skywarp. A decent repaint of a serviceable mold, it's a little unstable standing, but decent when you get it upright. HA Skids & co. Amazing figure, it's a shame it's wasted on Tweedledee. Solid & stable in both modes, good interaction with HA fleshlings, nicely posable. It's almost enough to make me like movie Skids. Almost. Ejector - He's an evil toaster, what's not to love?

Best use of the twins ever! :yay

Nice comparison of the two Leader Primes. I think the 09 version is the better display piece, but the 07 is the better toy. If that makes sense . . . Both cool and worth the money, though.

Definately a matter of taste, here, but I will say a few things. Why are accessories so important? For most of the DC fids I have accessories would be superfluous. Batman could use a batarang, and Wonder WOman might benefit from having her lasso but otherwise . . . What's Superman supposed to have, kryptonite? And I love the character choices. Sure there have been a few repaints - at least two Batmans, for instance, but overall, the line has been a nice cross-section of the DC universe. We got a Pre-Crisis Supergirl, for crying out loud! I just wish there were a Robin in the line. And Kyle Rayner would be nice. And since they're some of the least expensive figures on the rack, I'm willing to overlook some flaws.

What's wrong with them? They're good likenesses of the characters, decently posable for the size, sturdy. Now the Marvel line, there's some lousy figures. Half of those I own are floppy - the figures are hard to get stable, and could probably benefit from having fewer joints. The waists are especially bad - I can't get Spidey to stand straight to save his life. Add to that the excessive reuse of particular characters (how many Johnny Storm & Iron Man variants have they done?) and the higher price, and I know what line I'd rather go for.

Here's a battle scene I just set up - the Justice League vs. the G1 Decepticons. If there were ever a time to feel sorry for the `Cons . . . The Seekers get sacked! Starscream puts up a last stand against Supergirl, while Wonder Woman grounds Acid Storm. Targetmaster vs. arrows & power ring My money's on Green Arrow & Green Lantern. The Flash has just disassembled Galvatron, and Ramjet, Ravage & Skywarp are afraid they're next! Black Canary sings Crasher & Octane into submission! Another angle. I was careful to choose `Cons that could look like they were holding their ears. :-) The World's Finest vs. Megatron! One last picture - Power Girl punching Onslaught in the gut (or the crotch)

I realized that after I posted. Oh, well. :roll

Bumblebee's not the only Camaro in town! Sam doesn't quite fit - I can't close the door, but he can squeeze in and look decent.
