NOSTALGIA AND NUMBERS: Toy Fair Order Form From 1987 Reveals What G1 Fortress Maximus Cost Retailers

    RAC
    By RAC,

The TFWiki has posted a fascinating artifact from the year 1987: a Hasbro Toy Fair order form for the year's Transformers products! pic.twitter.com/rzcpHFipAV— Transformers Wiki (@tfwiki) August 12, 2019 It may get glossed over with the amount of time companies like Hasbro now put into public exhibitions at the event, but Toy Fair is a trade show with the intent of showing off and selling to retailers the coming year's products.

User Killtok on the reddit Transformers board has shared photos of a loose copy of a Hot Shot redeco/retool of Hound, said to have been received from a friend in Asia. Hot Shot from the Hound mold has been expected since virtually the day Siege was first officially revealed thanks to a packaging art error.

Package Photos Of Transformers Siege Walmart Exclusive 35th Anniversary Optimus, Megatron, Soundblaster

    ExVee
    By ExVee,

In Demand Toys posted to Facebook sharing a few pieces of new stock photography. These cover the upcoming Walmart exclusive 35th Anniversary Siege toys, which will reportedly be available in the UK between Kapow Toys and In Demand Toys themselves. These photos notably give us the first looks at the "cel shaded" decos of Optimus and Megatron on actual toys, rather than just renders, and the effect has turned out almost surprisingly well! The paint shading on Prime's windows and faceplate especially convey the idea well, and could easily have been enough for this style all on their own without the added paint deco on the arms and legs.

Chuck's Reviews Transformers Cyberverse Spark Armor Elite Class Cheetor

    chuckdawg1999
    By chuckdawg1999,

Wait I just realized, this is a cat with a boat, cats hate water. Good one Hasbro! Cheetor is a beloved character from Beast Wars so I'm sure there are quite a few people happy to see it included in the Cyberverse line. The figure is pretty good since the gimmick is contained in the Battleship. Combined Cheetor is still fairly articulated and fun to play with. Definitely worth the pick-up.

Haslab Unicron available in Australia though Zing

    sabercyclone41
    By sabercyclone41,

    Fantastic news!

For those of you in Australia who planned on biting the bullet on Unicron and were worried about shipping it, fear not. Hasbro Australia has teamed up with EB Games Australia to offer it as an exclusive through both themselves and Zing and all orders placed count towards the needed 8,000 backers. The good news is that it's listed at $848 inc GST, with an upfront $100 deposit (refundable if it doesn't go ahead). At a $0.70USD=$1AUD exchange rate, that works out at roughly $600USD inc GST. Given that once GST was factored in, it would cost $632.50USD even before shipping, this means that it's actually cheaper for people in Australia to order it from EB/Zing than it is to order directly from Haslab.  Kudos to the Ozformers facebook page for getting the news out there.

Transformers Siege Smokescreen Generations Selects High-Res Stock Photos

    ExVee
    By ExVee,

Dorksidetoys has shared some new stock photos for the upcoming Generations Selects Siege Smokescreen. Its release date draws nearer, with it expected to start shipping on or about October 1st at roughly the same time Bluestreak should become available for customers in the US via Walmart. The new photos show what we can presume to be a final colors and deco sample of the toy, which reveals some slight changes compared to earlier photos we saw.

    RAC
    By RAC,

Reddit user yinfandi has posted images of a new metal model kit of Tarn by MU Model! We've covered metal assembly models by MU and Metal Earth on occasion, and it's always worth noting when a popular character as-yet unavailable as an official Hasbro action figure makes its way into merchandise. Tarn is the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division in More Than Meets The Eye, which is in charge of enforcing Decepticon military code.
