  1. Yeah, looks like they chopped the MP-44 legs and head with Earthrise OP's torso.

  2. I want him for sure. Love the Junkions. I think people just love to complain man. Just don't buy the figure if you don't want it. I am loving all the options they've been putting out.

  3. Wsup TFormers! I'm super stoked to bring you my latest fan mode, the Trash Titan, otherwise known as 3G, the Garbage Goliath Gestalt!. This one is a collaboration between and one of my viewers, RobertH. Robert created the torso and I created the limbs. A very very cool and fun project that you can undertake if you have the bots at home. Requires: 1x Trashmaster, 2x Scraphooks, and 2x Crashbars. Check out the pic and also the vid, if you're interested in seeing the tutorial. Thanks and have a nice day

  4. Forgot about this one. It's Siege Shockwave repainted as Cybertron Brimstone based on the Botcon figure. I had planned to do at least Galactic Man and Energon Sixshot as well and maybe FoC Air Raid and Fireflight but when an actual Galactic Man Shockwave as announced, I put a hold on anything else. I also started to run out of extra money and went back to work and stopped making customs in general all around the same time. I can only post about six pics a post so I'll be posting a few in a row here for you. The rest will be all about the GUOP mold.

  5. It is a surprise we didn't see this already, but a new image out on SNS shows a stock image of Nemesis Prime SS-EX repaint of the Optimus Prime SS-38 coming from Takara TOMY. In addition to the new colors, there are Decepticon logos on the shoulders, but there doesn't appear to be any visible mold changes in the photos. - Read the Full News Story

  8. I'm fairly certain that this DNA kit is for Ultimate Optimus Primal and not SS Optimus Primal. When they posted the update for Volcanicus they asked it people wanted a kit for Takara's RotB Primal by voting for it in the comments. I guess this is the results of that vote. It makes sense since the new parts can just peg into the ports on Ultimate Primal's forearms and shoulders. It also looks like they're replacing the beast mode head too since it looks to have an opening jaw which I think is why people are thinking it's SS Primal. For me the dead giveaway is the flat tab clearly seen on the back of the figure. That to me tells me it's Takara Ultimate Primal. And it would make more sense as I think Apelinq was bigger than Primal so they're using the largest mold for the conversion. I wouldn't mind maybe seeing a small kit for voyager Primal to maybe make him into Optimus Minor or something. That's probably just me though. Voyager Minor, leader Primal and then ultimate Apelinq. Or you can just use the Beast Weaponizer Primal for Minor as that's a decent little figure in its own right and it has the correct beast mode posture. Although, Optimus Minor wasn't a gorilla since he had a tail lol. So no, that wouldn't work. Paint the voyager blue and call him B'Boom then or something like that. I'm still hoping for a retool of Kingdom Primal into B'Boom. They're not all that far off from each other in where their parts go. Not that they really would be as they're such similar animals to begin with. I'd also want another retool into Heinrad too. It could totally pull off the clock chest with how Kingdom Primal's chest transforms. I thought we'd be getting more Beast Wars figures after Snarl/Tazmania Kid was leaked but it seems it's only going to be Magmatron and Big Convoy. Hopefully they'll do Galvatron too from TM2 Megatron.

  9. Yes!!!!! All of the yes! Already put my order in as did 1/3 of the people needed so far within only 4 hours, 5 now. I just want the option to get more Bluebolts. I loves me some Weaponizers. I'm even thinking about selling my original set to fund a second set lol. I haven't looked at it in a while but last time I did I still had all the tires. They were splitting but I glued them on. Hopefully they haven't disintegrated outright. I'll keep Shotimus Prime though...oh sorry, he's...er I mean she's Yellow Splendid Convoy now isn't she? Shame that this means we'll never get them now be it Shotimus Prime, Yellow Splendid Convoy or any of the other deco options the original had. I gladly would pick up Black God Fire Convoy or the proposed OTFCC Defensor and MIdnight Shield Defensor decos of just Fire Convoy. But those will never come to pass now due to the stupid limitations placed on Haslab sets and reissues/redecos. That's the only real downside to this set being a Haslab. No redecos. So far though, this is the only one of the four to really be affected by that. Sure Victory Saber has had a black redeco for the Robotmasters figure but that's about it other than Red Geist from Deathsaurus but that's most likely a legal grey area as to who actually owns the rights to that be it Takara or Sunrise.

  12. When first revealed WFC Starscream was met with some disappointment over the color pallet and design, I had some concerns over the length of the wings. Having the figure in hand I can tell you it is better than early looks, but it's generally not as solid as the original deluxe release. The colors are muted which I assume is accurate to the game while vehicle mode is more of a shuttle than a jet like the original toy. Transformation is ok, but I feel that there are many half steps and at first, I found myself asking "That's it?" Overall, fans of the WFC game will probably enjoy this version of Starscream but most can safely pass on this without regret.

  13. There are many factors as to why Hasbro has found themselves on the verge of bankruptcy. First, they spent too much time and resources on older fans and neglecting younger ones. Then, there's the whole entertainment debacle, whether it's the Disney disaster, or Hasbro entertainment, both have missed the mark, with some estimating only 8-15% of the audience for the films these toys are based off of, are in that 7-12 age range. It's true, kids attentions are diverted more than ever now, with smart phones and the like, but to blame all of their failings on this one truth, is intellectually dishonest. Whether you agree or disagree with its "values," the whole woke thing is extremely unpopular and devisive. Many are referring to it as a "new religion," because it's that dogmatic. And Hasbro has been pushing this agenda hard, which has not gone unnoticed by many toy buyers. The increased toy prices coupled with dreadful plastic and qc has angered many. Then you have a company that makes most it's money from plastic toys, virtue signaling by discontining the plastic windows and having some tf's open to air while others are completely hidden away inside a box. These are just a few of Hasbro's problems. But the fact those at the top of this company where either unaware, or worse, believed any of these things where good ideas, tells me this company is in worse trouble than we know, and, most likely, won't be around much longer. All of this could have been avoided if the people running Hasbro hadn't been so short-sighted and sanctimonious, instead of just making the toys people wanted. People can exist without toy companies, but toy companies can't exist without people. It seems Hasbro forgot this.

  14. Following the look at the Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Optimus Primal Advanced Model Kit, I had no idea my prayers would be answered so soon for a large scale fully transforming figure. Today's Transformers June Fanstream reveal of the Studio Series 106 Optimus Primal figure appears to be just that and then some. - Read the Full News Story

  17. The time has come to look at the Transformers Studio Series '86 Ultra Magnus, dig deep and compare this big boy to not only the Earthrise but the Combiner Wars too, with the KBB KO of the Perfect Effect Core Fighter and X2Toys xt009 upgrades! This will be a beefy review!

  18. You will have to get it from overseas because it is sold out at TFSource and The Chosen Prime. I bet it will be $50-100 less, but may be a lot for shipping. It looks kind of plain, but the electronics more than make up for it.

  19. There seems to be quite a bit of hate for this figure already. I guess because Junkyard supposedly shelf warmed, that means that people aren't going to want this one as well. Or something like that. I just wish people would make up their minds. They either want all the G1 and then don't buy them or they want all the non-G1 and then don't buy. People paid crazy stupid prices for the previous deluxe Junkions. Sure one was an E-Hobby exclusive but the other two weren't. I just don't get it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'm loving these voyager Junkions. Especially since they have more going on than just new heads. New chests, new shoulders, new arms, new legs, a new vehicle front and a new weapon all split up different ways. I have two of each of the previous with some upgrades and parts swapping. I'll get one of these for sure. Then maybe two more and the another of each of the other two with some other upgrades I haven't gotten yet to see what else I can make. One of each stock and then the other six to mix and match. When I have the room, I'm going to have one hell of a Junkion display. I have 8 PotP Junkions, a CW Junkion (I want more but damn this little guy is expensive now), also the RTS Junkion duo, the Platinum duo and a United Wreck-Gar that I just paid for today on Ebay for cheap. Just need to track down that one E-Hobby one for cheap like I got the Hot Rod for. This is on top of my three Scraphook, three Crashbar and two Trashmaster so far. My Junkasaurus is looking wicked. I should take pics and post them sometime. I still need to get Detritus and Axlegrease. Oh and I guess I have Tow-Line too but fuck him.

  28. No thanks. Especially for those prices. If they were half the price and this was about 22 years ago then maybe. And I don't understand the love this is seemingly getting. A very vocal and rather large part of the fanbase scoffed at this idea bout 17 years ago. They hated the thought of "G1 with articulation". Now it's here and people love it? I bet it's the same people who claim they love the G1 reissues and then never buy them. This is a waste. It's targeting a niche of a niche of a niche. About a tenth or less of what they expect to sell will actually sell and the rest will go on steep clearance. They'll push out the first four or five figures they worked on and the rest will be cancelled. I'll be very surprised if this isn't how it goes. I'm one to be negative in hopes that the opposite will happen but I really think that this sucks and will ultimately bomb just like what happened to that one third party company that did every color of G1 Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Hubcap and Bumper as "G1 with articulation". This time, effort and materials should be going to more Takara Generations Selects redecos and retools. And to do a Masterpiece Airazor already. Maybe some Premium Edition decos that weren't outdone by the store exclusives that also weren't sold for an extra premium price. I do admit though that PE Siege Ultra Magnus and PE Siege Starscream look real good in hand. I think more highly of them though as I paid like half price for each. If I paid full price like I was going to do for UM then I would've been salty. That grey on Ultra Magnus' cab was worth the price as just using him as another character entirely.

  32. What a wildly different reaction to this figure based on the votes here vs the comments on a certain other site. I don't hate it. I don't love it either though. I just feel that this should've been a more vibrant purple at the very least. Or just have been standard OTFCC Shadow Striker colors. I mean of course it's going to get that redeco at some point but it's just a little odd that they'd go with that mold with only the head from Cyberverse to represent Cyberverse Shadow Striker. I guess it makes sense though as who else are they going to get from a mold that's more like Cyberverse Shadow Striker? Prime Vehicons maybe? That's not a bad idea actually. They have similar car modes in any event. Damn, maybe I don't like this for Cyberverse Shadow Striker now or I just want a new Prime Vehicon mold or something lol. I do like the mold otherwise though. And of course it's not going to look like a Dodge Viper. Sure it could be more rounded a design for the car but I think this looks rather good as a very late "G1" style design. Almost like Chromedome in a way. Actually, it looks a bit like a Dodge Charger. Maybe someone on the design team got their Dodge cars mixed up?

  36. We are rolling out for the weekend with a look at the 2003 Takara Transformers MyClone Convoy Truck Mode. The line of little-formers that was a big hit in the 00s preceding Transformers Mini-mates, were actually designed to have interchangeable parts to mix things up between characters. No one did that much, but we can see that Convoy's robot mode torso is what makes up the cab for the Truck mode. - Read the Full News Story
