  9. My review of Civil Warrior's CW-01 General Grant aka Masterpiece War Within Optimus Prime. I do have some QC issues with this figure. This is a new 3P company and I would very much like to give them a chance at their after sales support. I hope it will be a positive outcome. Overall I am generally pleased with the figure design.

  14. Some kinds of plastics are extremely resistant to paint no matter what you do. These are usually toughened waxy plastics/superhard plastics like polyoxymethylene that make up parts of a figure that could easily be stressed if made from the usual pvc or abs. The limbs of the Transformers Siege Battle Masters are made of this stuff and you need to color them, so what do you do? It's RIT DyeMore for synthetics to the rescue! Mix half the bottle of dye with a cup or so of water, boil the liquid on med to high heat just so you get a gentle rolling boil and drop your parts in. I like to suspend mine

  19. Despite my issues with both Siege and Earthrise i feel as generations lines they are on the right track. Focusing on the figures rather than forcing a gimmick like they did in Prime Wars. However every other leg of Hasbro has been super weak Cyberverse and Netflix for example are either poorly made like in cyberverse and Netflix is just a bunch of lazy repaints. Masterpiece has been super hit or miss as of late by forcing super toon accuracy on the robot mode. Overall Studio series the best line as it only has a few duds over it's huge run as a line.

  21. Greetings Transformers Fans! We hope you are safe and well during the pandemic. By now we have all been at home for weeks and are finding all kinds of ways to pass the time. Unfortunately, for a lot of Transformers fans one of their favorite things, collecting, has been impacted the most. To help light our darkest hour, Tformers, The Rejecticons, BigBadToyStore, Stan Bush, and others are hosting a 5 Day special event running April 27th thru May 1st to entertain and engage Transformers fans who for various reasons have been isolated and cannot afford to collect Transformers. 28. I have been collecting since 1984, transformers what the first thing I ever truly collected. I've cut down considerably on what I collect now, but Transformers were my first passion. I had to have every one in that 85 catalogue. I drove all over the place hunting them down, with my best friend. We're still friends, and I still have them all, all complete, 98% 9f them I still have the boxes. I packed them and their accessories in foam rubber to hold and protect them, decades later, they are my favorite thing, after my family. I also have become very adept at repairing them, and other toys.

  29. Coming up on four years since the last show in 2016, we've begun to see some signs of activity coming from Botcon once again over the last couple of days! The botcon.com website was brought back, at first appearing as it had just after Botcon 2016, but then changing to a message declaring that it was now under "renovations". 32. The only time I ever desire to live on the west coast is when new toys are coming in. Damn geography. Oh anyway, if I understood his followup tweets correctly, he actually found the entire first wave, not just Wheeljack and Ironworks. That photo shows what's left after he bought his own set of four.

  39. Basically, anything they can do to pass the risk off or eliminate it. A preorder threshold means that if it fails they're still out the development costs but nothing else. Probably wouldn't be good to have a $600 shelfwarmer out there. And likewise I'm sure the cost is partly because of the low production run. They probably won't reduce the cost if they end up producing more than expected, but I'm sure only doing 8,000 of these is factored in to the big bite there. But I do think it'll make it with over 1K in the first 24 hours. When it gets a broader announcement with the SDCC events the
