  1. Yeah, looks like they chopped the MP-44 legs and head with Earthrise OP's torso.

  2. I want him for sure. Love the Junkions. I think people just love to complain man. Just don't buy the figure if you don't want it. I am loving all the options they've been putting out.

  3. Wsup TFormers! I'm super stoked to bring you my latest fan mode, the Trash Titan, otherwise known as 3G, the Garbage Goliath Gestalt!. This one is a collaboration between and one of my viewers, RobertH. Robert created the torso and I created the limbs. A very very cool and fun project that you can undertake if you have the bots at home. Requires: 1x Trashmaster, 2x Scraphooks, and 2x Crashbars. Check out the pic and also the vid, if you're interested in seeing the tutorial. Thanks and have a nice day

  4. Forgot about this one. It's Siege Shockwave repainted as Cybertron Brimstone based on the Botcon figure. I had planned to do at least Galactic Man and Energon Sixshot as well and maybe FoC Air Raid and Fireflight but when an actual Galactic Man Shockwave as announced, I put a hold on anything else. I also started to run out of extra money and went back to work and stopped making customs in general all around the same time. I can only post about six pics a post so I'll be posting a few in a row here for you. The rest will be all about the GUOP mold.

  5. It is a surprise we didn't see this already, but a new image out on SNS shows a stock image of Nemesis Prime SS-EX repaint of the Optimus Prime SS-38 coming from Takara TOMY. In addition to the new colors, there are Decepticon logos on the shoulders, but there doesn't appear to be any visible mold changes in the photos. - Read the Full News Story

  8. With the arrival of the Yolopark Optimus Prime AMK PRO figure, I couldn't wait for them to make the cartoon colors versions to take a shot of my very own Sherman Dam Showndown scene. Yolopark sent me their new AMK G1 figures to share with you. They have recreated both of the G1 leaders just in time for the Transformers 40th Anniversary with these 20cm figures that you assemble yourself. - Read the Full News Story

  9. MIP Monday goes back for a look at the other Takara TOMY Transformers 40th Anniversary Missing Link release, the C-02 Convoy Anime Edition action figure. Oddly enough, it was the Walmart Retro Generation 1 reissues that gave us the Optimus Prime without the trailer was due to the original G1 trailer molds being unusable. - Read the Full News Story

  10. I REALLY don't want another one of those shitty Earthrise trailers. I hope this is the last time we ever see that thing again. It is the biggest waste of money ever put in Transformers box to boost the cost. At least with SS86 Grimlock's Wheelie and SS86 Slag's Daniel, those were there to "inflation proof" those figures. They had a little extra budget left and included them while the budget allowed for it. Future releases don't and most likely never will have those pieces as has already been seen in every Grimlock release after so far. And is also most likely the reason for Grimlock being a "package refresh" next year. They're 100% dropping Wheelie from the release and that's why they'll have to update the packaging. And the most likely blue but hopefully teal rumored G2 Grimlock won't have Wheelie either. And Siege Ravage for Bullseye? Seriously? That sucks. At least use Lionizer. I don't know how well Target would've taken their mascot turning into a sword but since they were retooling the head anyway, the tail sword is on that same sprue and could also have been retooled into something a little more family friendly for their mascot. I can't think of what right now but it could've been something. A tape dispenser? A scanning device? I don't know. I just know Siege Ravage sucks. But I guess that missing Ravage from the Takara Decepticon multipack had to go somewhere right? I'm digging the Cybertron Galaxy Force/Animated Elite Guard looking color scheme for G2 Optimus though. I'm just glad it's not the VNR mold again. That mold just isn't really all that good honestly. It's not bad, it's just not as fun as the G2 mold is. But still; no Roller, no energon axe, no extra Ion rifle. Nothing. At this rate, they could've added the whole Centurion drone upgrade kit for free with how much they're saving using both of these molds again. And the Ravage too for that matter.

  11. Following the first in-hand views, we have some more extensive looks at the Takara Tomy Transformers Missing Link Convoy. Check out the C-01 video that shows the full unboxing and details on this packaging, figure, and accessoies, thanks to @DARKKEY1. That is following by in-hand images of the C-02 Convoy showing the figure and packaging as well, thanks to @Jimmy Yu. - Read the Full News Story

  12. This is probably one of Hasbro's best ideas that they have ever had. The figure and it's comic, together! Genius! No doubt I will be picking these up, and I hope they decide to continue this line. This is Amazing.

  13. This looks like a cheap KO compared to the originals. The only part that is interesting is the Bluebolt figure

  14. You know, it's almost as if Hasbro, a toy company, has gotten so wrapped up in a postmodern cult ideology, they've forgotten how to give the fans what they want, which is the only reason they exist. Stay in your lane! If I want to be told how much I suck, I'll go to church, but until then, worry more about running your business instead of running your business into the ground at the behest of the Davos crowd.

  16. BEAST WARS! It took some decades to update these toys, but the wait was worth for the Transformers Legacy United Tigerhawk Leader. This is figure nearly jumps off the screen from the original series that quite a nice looking figure. Check out the VOK creation in-hand that follows thanks to the @TFND group. - Read the Full News Story

  17. Thanks! I didn't see that vote. I have added that to the post. I agree it makes sense, as the Ultimate looks different enough from the 106 that it will work better. That and the 106 is rather puny for the job.

  19. So, a Jazz by any other name is still smooth, right? Indeed, Transformers Legacy Evolution Toxitron Collection Laser Cycle, the unreleased G2 motrocycle Jazz, sure hopes that's the case!

  20. Confirmed! The G1 reissues for better or worse are just something they have to do because they are still the most recognizable and beloved Transformers characters. RED is supposed to be going mass retail. IDK if that means its discontinued, but Entertainment Earth has some of them now.

The Hasbro Pulse Con 2023 beat goes on with another new behind the scenes report from Mark Maher @markclonus, this one featuring the newly revealed Legacy Animated Universe Optimus Prime figure. The Autobot Leader lands as Voyager class figure with a totally new mold. 24. Dan from Toy Galaxy and Thew? Are they sure about that? This is going to be either hilarious or hilariously bad. Thew has gone on record as saying that he's not good live and Dan can mess up pretty amazingly as well as seen in his outtakes. Regardless, I'll be watching lol.

  25. They are very good quality IMO. The die-cast gives them a bit of weight that feels more balanced and posable.

  28. I managed to find the Takara warrior Strong Arm at a local comic shop in box for $15 about a year ago. The shell was super yellowed, thus the price. Like you said, the deco is soo much better than the Hasbro version. I really like this Legacy version though. The addition of a nose makes her feel more in-universe to the Legacy style.

  29. Well that makes more sense. Her name isn't Laser Cycle Jazz, it's just Laser Cycle. That might actually be worse though. It's what she is, not a name. Road Rocket, Road Pig, Jazz and Soundwave are all Laser Cycles. So what's Soundwave's name going to be if they ever get around to making the other Laser Cycle mold and get around to making a toy based on THAT unreleased deco. Laser Cycle 2? I got it! Laser Cycle Too!

  30. Does anyone else find it kind of funny that they managed to get Bombshell before they got Shrapnel? Thinking about this being a retool more, I wonder if it's less likely that we'll get Venom, Barrage and Chopshop now. We got Ransack because there really isn't anything else to do with Kickback other than Shothole. So since Shrapnel and Bombshell already share parts, does that mean that Hasbro won't do the other deluxe Insecticons due to not needing to since they're partials of each other. Or does this make it more likely? Since they saved money on Shrapnel and Bombshell they can afford to make Venom, Barrage and Chopshop as further retools. At least Venom would need new parts regardless and maybe that's why they're trying to save some money here. Chopshop and Barrage could just be straight new head redecos like Ransack was. I just hope that they don't finish the deluxe Insecticons again or they make the rest but the final three will all have new parts whereas Ransack doesn't. It makes me wish they did that abdomen gun thing instead of the wing swords for Ransack like what was originally planned for the mold. Not that it matters since I have that one upgrade that gives Ransack his shield and a new gun but still, the abdomen gun would've been cool too. A full set of clones/SG Insecticons would be nice too. Maybe even Beet-Chit not that that name would make it to shelves without a change even though it doesn't mean anything bad and only just sounds like it.

  32. As someone who repainted a GUOP into Nova, I can confirm that this would make for a great base mold. With new wings, shoulder pads, super mode chest and forearm guards (all from what I can tell from the silhouette anyway) , this will make for a great retool that's a long time coming. It also is the last character from the Siege era that I did a custom of to receive an official toy. At least my Toxitron will remain unique since I also used GUOP for that. Otherwise it's Siege Magnus for Delta Magnus, GUOP for Nova Prime, and Siege Sideswipe/Red Alert/Covert Clone for Tigertrack, Deep Cover and Clamp Down. Well, I guess a Siege Delta Magnus is still pretty unique vs the Earthrise version we technically got. As well as Nova Prime form GUOP without any new parts. Deep Cover was reworked into a Siege Scamper and the rest don't do much of anything right now. At least I never started on Black Ironhide since we've gotten two of them now or most of the other Diaclone or G2 repaints I was going to do. Although I probably should start on red Mirage just to hurry an official version of that along. I was going to do Detritus too but that's also being done. I started on a green Ratchet but never finished it. Maybe if I did, we'd get one of them too. I should grab some extra Skids/Burnout/Crosscut to do Skids and Screech. Oh and I plan on doing a lazy custom of parts swapping Blue Trailbreaker with Lift-Ticket to make Red Trailbreaker and Blue Hoist and then repainting the heads. Oh and I do mean to do yellow Cliffjumper, red Bumblebee and white Hubcap too. I have the heads somewhere to be repainted but a lot has happened since I took the heads off and now I don't know where they are anymore lol. Oh and 2007 Jolt, Cybertron Crosswise and someone else, I forget who it was, from my extra ER Datsuns. So many easy releases being skipped for some reason. They can just keep pumping out the Generations Selects if they wanted with all of these but they don't for some reason. But they're constantly saying that they're running out for GS since the stores want so many exclusives. But there's still so many more they need to do. Yellow Ratchet, Silver Silverstreak, Yellow Trailbreaker and Hoist and so on and so on not to mention the Go Bots redecos of the G1 Mini Bots.

  33. I hope this is just a very early proof of concept for the weapons since there's nothing else retooled. I don't want Tarn in Bludgeon's colors. I want at least some kind of retooling done to make it look more like the comic designs at the bottom of the post. Tarn is good but just do more than the weapons. Bludgeon deserves more than that. Maybe for Banzaitron but not Bludgeon.
