This time I look at my first-ever MMC offering - R-10 Reformatted Salvia Prominon the Saint, better known as their take on Solus Prime. This is a character who has had few representations but crucial to my expanding version of the 13 (always getting closer). This mold has been used for Arcee, Medic and Elita 1 too, all with slightly different alt modes. Herein, I show those modes and how well this version fits in with my current version of the 13!

Sometimes known as Trailcutter, not to be confused with Trailblazer, which means you might have to change, joining us in the Earthrise subline is none other than the Force Field guy, Trailbreaker. A repaint/retool of Hoist, Trailbreaker with its darker colors wears the mold better, not looking as bulky. While I would've preferred a less stern face the overall package is A+ and really should be a part of your collection.

Blast off to fun...with the Earthrise Astro Squad micromasters. I like these lads, imperfect though they may be. The shuttle mode alone tohugh is pretty excellent!

It's a silver car named Bluestreak because of how fast it talks and the stories it tells. Not one of the best-remembered or important characters from G1, Bluestreak has carved out a little niche for itself in the fans' hearts. The toy features a new front end retooled from Smokescreen or vice versa since I'm not sure who was supposed to come first. Overall, Bluestreak is a great figure and if you can find it for retail price is worthy of a place in your collection.

This itty bitty Soundwave is actually pretty impressive. Spot on G1 look and feel, a good build quality and an enjoyable transformation, especially the legs. Enjoy!

Here's my take on Beast Wars MP-50 Tigatron. I like him. He starts to grow on me, although, I do have some mixed feelings, especially about the legs. The leg transformation is great, but at the same time the range of motion is a bit too limited in both modes in my opinion, especially in the tiger mode. But there's always something to complain about:) Enjoy!

Battle Call Officer Class Bumblebee is a complex figure, kids will like it for a while until the same sound clips bore them, but not until it drives parents nuts. Transformation is relatively simple, just make sure the panels line up, and vehicle mode unlocks more lights and sounds, but you'll miss the lights since the chest faces down. There isn't any cross-play with the Trooper Class which is a shame, the Trooper sized figures are now that much harder to recommend. Overall, at the price point, I just can't recommend buying the figure.

**UPDATED 04-06-2009** FOLKS... ALL I ASK IN GIVING THESE FOR FREE, IS THAT COMPANIES DO NOT PROFIT FROM THEM. Please do not use them for monetary gain in displays or promo shots used to sell any items of your own, and most of all, please do not assemble these to sell for profit. Here's the digital rendering: http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/Teletraan-assembled.jpg But I finally got around to building my Teletraan-I, and here she is: http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/teletraan_real1.jpg http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/teletraan_real2.jpg http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/teletraan_real3.jpg http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ark/teletraan_real4.jpg Guys, the files are done, I've tested them and resized a few things. Here you go: TELETRAAN-I HIGH RES PRINTABLE FILES » TELETRAAN-I BACK GRAPHIC » (for those of you who want a finished backside) Also, here's a little something I designed a while back to photograph some customs in. (The custom heads are thanks to Valkfan, they're amazing). Interior Ark plates so you can assemble your own scenes or line a display case for your Transformers. Attached is a link to several different plates that you can print out on an 11x17 format and spray-mount to foam core board and they make decent Ark background plates. They're scaled for Alternators, but I guess you could scale them by 50% and use them for G1 or Classics. Here are some shots with the Ark plates: http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ratchet_ironhide/finals/ark_ratchet_ironhide.jpg http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ratchet_ironhide/finals/ark_ratchet_ironhide2.jpg http://x4.ofgraphicdesign.com/projects/ratchet_ironhide/finals/tb_ironhide_ratchet.jpg HERE ARE THE HIGH-RES PRINTABLE ARK FILES FOR DOWNLOAD » And by popular demand, I've started a Nemesis interior set of plates, with an all-new design (I couldn't just recolor the Ark plates). HERE ARE THE FIRST 8 NEMESIS PLATES: DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #1 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #2 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #3 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #4 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #5 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #6 » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #7 w/ screen A » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #8 w/ screen B » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #10 w/ window A » DOWNLOAD NEMESIS BACKGROUND PLATE #10 w/ window B »
