  6. Thrust is a good figure, like the other Seekers, but it's not worth the high mark-ups that you're finding on the secondary market. Then again, if you're a collector you kinda need it to complete the team.

  9. I was fairly confident these images were not official and I was right, in part. First, I have translated the text. Second, the images are four layers thick and made in a basic image editing program. Layer one/background is white. The next layer is the image of the toy with the overlay text. Layer two is the only official part. Layer three is the logo image and layer four is the English text. Examining further into layer two, it is an image from a low-cost cellular telephone, which means bad image quality. If you compare the clarity between the English text and the Japanese text, it is obvious. One other thing was that the images were taken from a sheet inside a binder. There is a little yellow on the top, which is typically from those transparent page covers used in binders for portfolios or presentations. One last thing... I understand that the Japanese product identifications may be different from North America's. When I first saw these images, I was suspicious that the product numbers did not line up. I am still skeptical about that information. In case you were curious about pricing, my understanding is that due to import fees, exchange rates and other miscellaneous costs, the prices are not a direct translation according to the exchange market. Thus, I have provided the likely US MSRP. Below is the text translation breakdown and a relevant piece of undisclosed information about Rodimus' trailer... Center Red Text RAW: (3) March 10th (Day) Lifting of the Ban TRA: Pre-Orders begin March 10th Bumblebee JPY 2,800 = $26 USD (Sold in US as $20 USD Deluxe Class) Bottom Left Blue Text: Transform from robot to Chevrolet Camero Bottom Center Red Text: Bumblebee Bottom Right Blue Text: is here! In NA, SS-68 is Leadfoot (Target Exclusive) Maverick JPY 5,000 = $46 USD (Sold in US as $50 USD Leader Class) Bottom Left Blue Text: Fly to Japan in the F-14 Tomcat Bottom Center Red Text: Top Gun: Maverick Bottom Right Blue Text: is our guardian! Rodimus JPY 13,000 = $121 USD (Sold in US as $80 USD Commander Class) Bottom Left Blue Text: Change from robot to truck with 9 inch trailer Bottom Center Red Text: Rodimus Prime Bottom Right Blue Text: is here! In NA, KD-12 is Core Starscream. In JPN it is KD EX-07 In closing, I would say to make your own judgement. I have been burned too many times by false information, so I am a fan of I will believe it when I see it from a legitimate source.

  10. Nice job, Sherlock! Good the know the preorder date and trailer note for sure. You are right, it almost surely came from a retail binder. But it is not uncommon for them to be doctored up as they get passed around. My guess is this is very likely legitimate. But only time will tell.
