Animated GoBots!? Why not, I say! It would work and here's the proof!I used Oil slick as a base.Repainted the whole thing.Made sure there would be no paint rub anywhere.I remolded the hell out of the headI sculpted new detail on the chest.Also replace the ram head with a headlightI hope you guys like it. I have to agree, that is amazing work. How do you ensure no paint rub - keep joints paint-free (an easy task since Oil Slick's base dark gray (?) shows less than say, painting Jazz black. With gold flames. Just saying), or do you apply a finishing coat like I never do? Either way, great custom!

Here's the best way ever to avoid paint rub in ball joints: Dying!

Whenever the ball joints or articulations can be unscrewed/removed, I take them apart and dye them. I usually use black dye since it mixes well with almost any color scheme. Other than that, I'll sand the joints that are on hinges and can't be taken apart.

Everything I paint or dye ends up with a coat of sealer. I'm pretty sure the sealer doesn't offer 100% protection, but it can't hurt!

Sorry, that isn't going to happen. Animated Screamer's alt mode is awful! It's very 'toon accurate and fits screamer well, but once is enough. I'll definitely be making a Animated Leader-1 custom if A) we get a better, more regular looking jet mold in TFA and B) if it's deluxe size. I want Cy-Kill and Leader-1 to be in the same scale.

I think that the Animated Starscream might just make a good Leader-1 to fight this great Cy-Kill. Also good possible Gobot repaints would be Armada Cyclonus, or the purple E. Chopper into Coptor, and Cyb Swerve into Turbo, oh and Cyb Ransack into Scootor.
