Animated Grimlock, finally!

After making the mistake of passing on Grimlock at TRU two weeks ago, I finally had a secnd chance at him at Kmart. Naturally I picked him up, despite being way over on my TF budget already (For Primus' sake, Hasbro, slow down!) Very nice figure. Not without flaws - a chest panel to conceal his robot head would have been nice - but well worth the money.Solid in both modes, looks like the show, and the sword's feature is cool. Why couldn't Classics Grimlock have been half as nice as this?

I think that the gap in altmode could have been effectively solved simply by allowing the sword to store there somehow.

That being said, its a minor complaint.

 

The figure is loads of fun. Remember to snap his arms ALL THE WAY. I've noticed that when I change him to robot mode his arms kinda click into place, and that's fine, but if you give it another gentle push, they click again, making them look a little less gangly.
