FantoFan is providing us some information as well as a first look of TakaraTomy's U.S.A. Edition Universe Classics 2.0 Powerglide, Silverbolt, and Onslaught. The figures will sport the packaging of their Hasbro counterparts, but will receive a more Generation 1-accurate color scheme. The figures are scheduled for an October 2, 2008 release and each at the 4725 Yen ($45 USD) pricepoint. Read more.

I'd have to see Silverbolt's colors a little closer though...

Realistic? Red trim on grey is realistic? I will be buying the red colored Powerglide. Silverbolt and Onslaught aren't different enough from Hasbro's.

Prefer Takara's Powerglide by a long shot, I'd rather use the hasbro version as a homage to wingsaber

Oh, not at all. But in light of the rest of Transformers Classics, "realism" seems kind of silly excuse to not color Powerglide red.
