Yeah, I'm not down with the chrome on these at all.

FYI

 

it has a LOT to do with how it's done. Hasbro's track record with chrome is spotty at best. (learn how to prime the plastic sometime thx) On the other hand, the Takara TM Megatron his children stole from him has zero chrome loss. So I don't think you necessarily have anything to worry about just because it's chrome.

Serious reply: I'd buy this if I had the money. It's not perfect, but it's overall better than Classics Rodimus. I'm not usually one to buy repaints of a TF I already have, either, so I'm basically giving it very high marks and all that shot.

While there's a lot of it I DO like (blue eyes? yes!), The Rodimus mold is likely one of my LEAST favorite of the classics, regardless of colors.
