Classics Coronation Starscream

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I thought I would share my TF customs. For now, heres Classics Starscream in his Coronation Gear in the 1986 film where he was leader of the Decepticons for like 20 seconds... I made him cuz i cant find nor afford the Masterpiece Starscream. Also, theres a lil teaser pic at the bottom. Hope you all like it!

Welcome aboard! That coronation set's pretty fly, I must say! Your paint jobs look nice too. However, that Starscream would look much more regal if you could wrangle up a real cloth cape for him. Working with fabric can be intimidating at first, but you could probably find something that's the right shade of purple with one trip to the thrift store. Vinyl's even easier to work with and would look even better.

Very nice, but I have to ask... what did you do to Screamer's Null-Rays?

Did they look like that during the coronation? Or am I thinking of the horns the constructicons were playing...

Was gonna ask if he was bashed from a henkei, but seeing the other seekers, I'm guessing they're all hasbro repaints. Really like what you've done with astrotrain.

Thx for your feedback

tom servo: i was thinking about using fabric and such, but was too lazy to go pick it up. I'll try it when i get the chance, but he probably would look more regal with it. Glad you like the paint apps and thx!

Soundwinder: Thx! the null-rays are from bits of lego i found.

Retread: The null-rays dont look exactly what i made cuz i took some liberties with it, but its more or less the same. And yes, they are all repaints and resculpts of Classics SS and Ramjet. Henkei are too expensive and theres no fun in that lol

Adzma: thx

Wheel_Jack: I'll try to get some more clear pics of each seeker when i can. thx for looking

I thought that was Lego. Now that I think of it, there might be a Marvel Legend, or similarly sized figure out there with the right sized cape for the Screamer. In the mean time, on the super cheap, I'd recommend some colored construction paper with an accordion fold.

Also, if you're going for a real G1 look for your classic jets, that cross-bar in the chest comes out real clean with a pair of wire cutters, and it doesn't take away any structural integrity. (I despise that bar.)
