Michael Bay has authorized me to respond on his behalf*:

"Sorry, Uwe. I'm busy making the sequel to my 700 million dollar Spielberg produced film. I think it's pretty clear from watching your films that you don't know what makes a good movie, so I'm not terribly concerned about your films. You haven't made a film that outdoes my films at the boxoffice, and I haven't made a film that's come anywhere near your abysmal Tomatometer ratings. I'll let that speak for me. You wanna box someone, call and see what Brett Ratner is doing."

*No, he hasn't.

It's become clear to me recently just why I hate Uwe Boll's guts. It's becoming even more clear here why I think he barely passes for a decent human being. :finger

I just can't believe that he's that gorram clueless about why it is that his films suck in comparison to Bay's films. It's not the "studio" versus "independents" here. It's the fact that this frakker couldn't direct action to save his gorram life! Even at Bay's worst (Pearl Harbor), the action is fast and exciting. Boll makes action look flat, dull, and slow. How is that even possible?!!! :wtf

Yeah, Uwe... you'll probably win in a boxing match between you and Bay. It still won't erase the fact that you're a sorry excuse for a movie director. I see what others have done with little to no film budget (Evil Dead, Escape From New York), and those films are frakking Oscar GOLD compared to even your best film... whatever film that is, I don't know. I only saw two... :puke

I'd pay to see that fight.

edit: a spokesperson for Michael Bay just released a statement:

I think that in order for this issue to be properly discussed, a move to INH is in order.
